My dog had skin cancer; squamos cell carcinoma. Dr. Weinstein performed surgery and the results were clear margins and a happy dog and mommy. Thank you ACCC for your kindness and compassion.

I am very sad to say that my last experience with this clinic left more to be desired. 3 years ago, I took my dog in and had excellent care and follow up, I felt. This time around, it just wasn't the same. Towards the end of my dog's treatment, she was not doing well and I canceled two appointments in a weeks time due to her illness and NO ONE ever followed up to see how she was, what the problem was, or anything - even when I requested the Dr to call for advice on next steps. Heartbreaking because I feel she was not treated well and some stuff was overlooked, admittingly by Dr. Correa - and I still trusted them to have my baby's best interest at heart. It is kinda sad that after spending all that money, she still didn't even deserve a call to see how she was feeling or how they could help. Only wanted the money for the treatment...no money...no care or thought - next $$$, please. I understand it is a business...but felt a bit of compassion and care might ease the pain just a bit.

I brought my cat suffering from Lymphoma to be treated. Instead of identifying his problem, they continued with an ineffective treatment costing an enormous amount of money. He died because they never diagnosed the problem. Never again!

We are so happy with our experience with this veterinary clinic. Dr Sones was very understanding and honest with our numerous questions about treatment for our dog.

Dr. Weinstein in my opinion is not a good person. I would tell everyone to avoid this place.

We brought our healthy dog in to have a tumor removed on her paw. BECAUSE THE BANDAGE THEY PUT ON HER PAW WAS TOO TIGHT ON HER PAW MY DOG HAD TO HAVE HER PAW AMPUTATED. THEY CHARGE AN EXCESSIVE FEE AND GIVE VERY LITTLE CARE. THE BANDAGE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED AND CHECKED THE NEXT DAY. IT WAS MALPRACTICE. DO NOT USE THEM!

We are extremely disappointment towards this Clinic because of its lack of veterinary expertise and sensitivity towards the death of our beloved Dixie. On 12/26/12 Dr. Armando Villamil, saw Dixie for Lymphoma cancer. Dr. Villamil stated that if Dixie underwent chemotherapy her life expectancy would be up to eight (8) months. Since we love our Dixie very much and in the hopes to have her stay with us longer, we started the treatment right away, regardless of the cost. After our first visit Dixie started to display hyperactivity – which was wonderful, however, we were concern of her getting injured (as Dixie suffered from arthritis in her hips). On 1/5/12, Dixie was seen by Dr. Evan Sones. Although, we explain to Dr. Sones our satisfaction to know that Dixie was very happy. We also addressed our concern regarding her getting injured and asked Dr. Sones to prescribe to Dixie something to slow her down. Dr. Sones prescribed Dixie Acepromazine. Dr. Sones did not warn us of any side effects

Money's the name of the game at ACCC in Fort Lauderdale. If you've been there and seen their building, you'll know why they charge ridiculous rates for simple procedures. They take advantage of distraught humans with sick companions. My dog went through the first tier of drugs, remission for two months, then onto the second drugs. She started getting chronic infections which they blew off. She got a bad sinus infection. One of these idiots told me it was probably 'reverse sneezing.' I took her to her regular vet and she was on IV antibiotics for seven days. Every spare penny I had went to those vultures, more than $8,000. And yet they had the temerity during a courtesy voicemail reminding me of an appointment that I had a $200 balance that had to be paid at the appointment. Or What??? They wouldn't treat my dog? Well, she passed away last Wednesday. Vet told me cancer had spread to her organs. They would have kept pumping drugs into her as long as my checks cleared.

Mr. Windsor (canine) had a lump. All doctors decided that the lump was not a concern and I agreed though I did want it removed to ensure there was no cancerous cells found. The lump was on his back, it was surgically removed and found to contain cancerous cells. Being referred to the Cancer Care Clinic in Ft. Lauderdale, finding no cancer in his system for several weeks, we decided to treat for cancer, as a precaution-only, using chemotherapy, administered under Stephanie Correa, DVM. Treatment began with test results proving, for 9+ months, that Mr. Windsor was in complete remission, no signs of cancer and, after the full treatment of Vinblastine by Correa, as well as, at home treatment and additional bloodwork, he was released with a smile. During treatment, he lost his hearing. 3 months later, he was unable to walk and in extreme pain. Tests revealed he had bone cancer all along and it dissolved his back bones. Beware of this life-altering scam.

We went in for a routine check and they discovered one mass and one possible mass that they could not determine what it was. After 10+ thousand dollars, two procedures (the last one discovering that the suture integrity was "compromised" which was from an extraction of an organ that I had not authorized, the dog passed away as a complication of the botched procedures. There was absolutely NO Interaction from the ownership (Dr. Correa)to address the mishap. They also know how to play the "game" with credit card companies who can not assist in disputing misdiagnosed and errors made in surgical situations. The one thing that they are flawless at is taking your money and not explaning procedures on the bill. We had several sonograms which ranged hundreds of dollars apart for the same procedure and told NOTHING! If you want a vet that is unorganized, uncaring as to outcome, and hyperpriced then look no further.
