I took a stray cat in to another veterinarian in Stafford, VA because she had a big bulge on her tummy. The Stafford vet took a sample and told me that the cat definitely had a mast cell tumor and it would cost $1,100. I immediately got a 2nd opinion here at White Oak Animal Hospital, they took a sample and didn't find tumor cells. An x-ray showed that it was only a hernia! I got the hernia operated on and I got her spayed at the same time and it cost less than a tumor operation would have at the other vet. They didn't find any cancer! I trust the people here because they didn't lie like the other vet did. People are friendly. The waiting area is wide open, brightly lit, and clean. I have been tossed-up over the past few years on whether I should go to the vet that is close to me in Stafford, or drive a little farther and be happy. My mind is made up now! This place is the BEST in the area. (yes I have tried a few others in the area too).
