This clinic has a great atmosphere and the clinic greets you wonderfully. The doctors knows what they are doing and wants to help you give your dog/cat the best life possible. They will inform you on everything that you need to know and if you have any questions they will be happy to answer it.

I have been going to this clinic for several years. Staff have always been kind and friendly. They recommend medical procedures and show you why but don't push if you're not able to go ahead at that time. My dog was always happy there.

I have been coming to this clinic for almost 12 years with my dog. They are the most caring group of people. I wouldn't trust my dog's care to anyone else.

My experiences at this clinic has been pleasurable when working with the staff, the appointments were always punctual and accommodating to my schedule. I have always felt the cost of care was worth the service provided. I trust and value the opinions of the staff. I like how they treat my pets and the interaction with our family. I love that our pets are in their calendar!

Markham vet clinic is a very trustworthy clinic. I have brought my cat there many times for serious and minor issues which were all handled with care and patience with my approval. The staff are very kind and informative. I was concerned with payments at first because taking care of pets cost just as much as your own kin sometimes. I was given great relief when they offered payment plans to help make it more cost effective. I appreciate the quality care and service my cat and I were given.

My dog (Milo) is a important member of my family and deserves the best care for the joy he has brought to our lives. Milo managed to swallow a rather large child's toy recently and the result was that surgery was required to remove it. We received prompt service from the Markham Vet Clinic and happily Milo was back to his mischievous self in no time. We have found Lily to be a compassionate and competent doctor and the care her clinic provides reflect that sentiment. Even though we do not live as close anymore, her clinic is still our first choice that we entrust our Milo for all his needs. Honest and timely service is what we have come to expect from the Markham Vet Clinic and would recommend Lily's clinic to anyone. Thank you for keeping taking the best care of our one and only Milo!

There are not enough words to say about Markham Vet Clinic, We have dealt with them for 19 years and 3 Goldens and they were amazing in the care that was given to our dogs., The best thing anyone can do is to take the family pet to a caring Clinic and more caring than this Clinic you will never find. This Clinic just all about money$$$$. No wonder because they have too many staff to pay. They always try to talk to you into getting tests done, when your pet really don't need it done. There are many other Vet Clinic charge way lesser price than them. Just be AWARE of Markham Vet. Just do your research before admitting your pet there. I feel sorry for the elder people, they never hesitate to pay. God Bless You All.

I used to go here, but share the same issues that others have. They care first about money and then your pet. After switching, my new vet was amazed at all the unnecessary tests, etc... The worst is their drug costs. First of all they are not transparent and they are about $20 versus $12 for humans and keep in mind we are talking about a secretary counting pills versus a qualified pharmacist for humans. Furthermore they jack up the price of the underlying drugs. To illustrate, we had some allergy pills for my dog which came to $45 and the same pills for humans from Rexal were $24. I find the non-transparency of the dispensing fee unethical. They only care about your money and use your genuine love for your animal to leverage/justify unnecessary tests. As a result, i believe them to be highly unethical and i am glad i no longer take my dog there.

I used to go this vet and not any more. They act like they care your pets, don`t get tricked by that.They just want your money.They want you to jump into some expensive exams or lab tests if your pets are not feeing well.my dog had stomach upset and I just wanted to get something for his tummy. Right after the butt They told me to go biopsy because he might have a cancer.Seriously? It was just stomach upset and he was fine next day. They say these things so easily wthought checking the pets enough. Very poor skills as vets. I`m so happy that I left there and found a great vet.

We moved to Markham last year and this is by far the best animal clinic we've been to. Very professional and friendly. The doctors and nurses are excellent at explaining stuff and answer any questions that we have (both in the clinic and on the phone). They let us watch while they took blood from our cat and let us have a tour of the clinic so we would know where she would be staying for her spay surgery. They showed us the surgery room and how she would be cared for. I don't think we would trust any other clinic with our pets. If you want nothing but the best for your pet this is the place to go!!

Thank you to the staff for all your support for my pet. It has been a difficult year with a diagnosis of cancer in my beloved cat and you have been there for me and my pet every step of the way. You took the time to answer my questions and help me through difficult decisions. Your medical knowledge was only surpassed by your caring attitudes. I'm so happy for the extra time I have had. 1 yr later and no sign of the cancer returning! Your the best!

Excellent care and caring staff. All veterinarians and veterinary technicians have regular updating on issues and animals. This means that the human clients can speak to issues knowing that the staff are aware of what is going on with their pet-clients. Very happy with this clinic

Took my dog for vaccine boosters in July 2012. At the visit they recommended doing blood & urine tests. Said it was standard practice to do these tests on 4-year-old dogs. I paid $190 for the blood test and $59 for the urine test. Two days later they called me in and said my dog had crystals in his urine. They recommended x-rays to confirm the diagnosis at a cost of $570. If the x-rays showed crystals, they said I could buy their food to try and dissolve the crystals. After 6 months, I would have to return for another $59 urine test. If crystals were still present, my dog would need surgery costing $1000-$3000. When I hesitated to agree to all this, the vet began talking to my dog trying to guilt trip me. I was upset and went to another clinic 10 minutes away. I paid $182 for a consultation, urine sample collection and urinalysis. They analyzed the sample on-site and told me there were absolutely no crystals in my dog's urine. Markham Vet was trying to rip me off. Only in it for $$$

Awesome clinic. Very seldom have to wait for appointment time. Staff kind and know what they're talking about. Staff always seem to be having fun and they include us as well. Top notch care for my pet. Will recommend to my friends.

ALL of the staff at this clinic are so knowledgeable and friendly, going in for an appointment feels like you're visiting old friends. The Doctors are very thorough when they are examining my pets, they don't miss anything and they verbalize everything that they do so I can follow along. I love the fact that there are multiple Doctors - to me it means that my pets get the very best of care with multiple professional opinions instead of just one. I’ve never had a problem with continuity from one Doctor to the next and I like all of them. I don't actually find this clinic to be more expensive, it may just seem more expensive because they are very thorough and truly want the best medicine for your pet (which sometimes means additional tests are needed). If ever I'm not able to afford something the team works with me to find the best alternative that I CAN afford. The best clinic in Markham by far, I highly recommend it!

This clinic is awesome! The Vets and techs treat my cat and dog like their own. I have been to other clinics and this one is by far the BEST! Not only were they on time, unlike other places where I had to wait forever for my appt and then felt rushed through it, but everyone is super friendly and offer the best for my babies. You get what you pay for. I don't mind paying more when I know that it's worth the money. I would only save like maybe $20 at other places and have to drive at least an extra 20 minutes. It's very hard to find a place you trust and I have definitely found it here. I've been to places close by and they're not professional at all. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet. I find I'm always offered what's best and I can decide what I can afford. Can't beat that!

This place is all about the 'glitz and glam'- sure they send your pet a birthday card or have their pic on the corner of the receipt- but don't be fooled- it's all about money. They keep you coming back for various types of tests and charge really high fees...They have way too many vets there so they go by what was written in the file by the last vet who saw your pet.....not trust worthy and in it for money IMO

Staffs are nice, but I am assuming they are nice because they want your business. We are with them for a little over a year. When my dog was sick last year, all they did was pushing us to spend $$$ on testing, scanning, etc. But they still couldn't find out the reason why my dog was sick. Then my dog passed away a few days after treated in this clinic. This year we have 2 new puppies. We went to them for vaccines, the vet explained since my puppies are very young and small (2 chihuahua, 5 months old), she recommended to do the vaccines in 2 separate appointments. By doing that, they charged us double the fee, which we think it's really unreasonable. Then they gave us a free bag of the food they are selling, and wanted us to try it out. Today we received a phone call from them asking how our dogs like the food. Obviously all they care about is how we like the food, and should we buy from them again!! The spay quotation they gave us was very pricey! Will go somewhere else for sure!!

They gave me back my kitten! I love that they are very thorough and pay attention to every little detail that contribute to pet health. Our 10 year old calico cat is now like a kitten again because of the extraordinary care she received. This is the first clinic we found that ever cared enough to pay attention to proper diet and actually provided support for my cat's weight loss. They also caught very early signs of her arthritis and provided preventive treatments. My 10 year old cat is now more energetic than even her 4 year old kitty brother. I think all pet owners need to understand the difference between cost vs. VALUE! This clinic gives the best value for what we pay because they provide very thorough service and high quality care.
