This place is horrible. It’s absolutely filthy in there. Old dirty towels on exam table, animal hair everywhere. The pet food shelves were bare. The vet seemed totally incompetent and unable to understanding English. He is rude and tried to pressure me to get $200 xrays for a sprained toe in a cat. He didn’t listen and yelled over me when I was trying to talk. Pinched my cats arm to make me cry so I would think she was more injured. I know this because her her arm didn’t hurt there before the vet or after we got home. HORRIBLE experience! Go somewhere else FOR SURE!

Dr. Sahi is very friendly and personable. He treats our little girls very well! Pricing is reasonable and office is clean. Hard to find a vet who is as good with the owner as he is with the animals! Love our new vet!

We took our little hamster into Dr. Bikramjit Sahi and we are so happy we did. Not is Dr. Bik very concerned for even his littlest patients but he is also very compassionate to his human clients. He has given extra care yet his fees for his service are very fair. I will gladly take my other pets to him and will easily refer him to all I know. Thank you Dr. Bik:)) "Cedar", Daniella and Edie.

We took our dog Toby in on Sunday, almost supper time because he cut his hind leg open and tore his tendon. The quick response we received was almost as if we brought in a small child. He stayed open beyond his office hours to assist us, and he took excellent care of Toby. He even called in his staff to assist, as soon as we arrived. The removal of the stitches and all the follow up visits, he took great concern in the care he was giving. We shall be taking our other dog, Bella, and our cats, Lily, and Tabby to see him as well. Its great to find someone that treats a member of your family like a member of your family and not an animal. Highly recommend Dr. Bik.

Best Vet ever. Reasonable pricing and cares for animals even goes out of his way to call after hours to check on pets. Makes a point of writing down my kids names so he knows and doesnt have to ask and he saved my little kitty. Calgary vet quoted us 1800 dollers to diagnose and treat our 5 month old kitten said he probably has a fatal disease and since we couldnt pay up front best thing for him would be euthanisation they wanted to do a bunch of unnecisary tests. Fauna clinic was recomended after that by a family memeber and im glad they were he diagnosed my kitten with a treatable condition without un nessisary tests that are costly and saved my little boy for a qurarter of the price and made sure shots deworming and hairball treatment were included in the price. We are so greatfal for the vet and staff of the Fauna Animal Hospital in chestermere. I recomend them to anyone.

I can't say enough great things about how great the staff is each time we go in, and how professional and well priced they are. They really care about my dog, and me, and make sure all my concerns are addressed after we visit. Today my guy had a few teeth pulled, and a cleaning and I was blown away with how great his teeth look, and how calm and content he was when we picked him up. Dr. Sahi also made sure we knew how to do continuing care at home while Rocky heals, and made sure we had the food and meds we needed. HIGHLY recommend Fauna Animal hospital for any pet needs. I've also had a check up, anal glands, and vaccines done, and will be a returning, satisfied customer! Even if you live in Calgary like us, he is well worth the drive!!

Our cat, Lily has been sick for the last 2 years. When we lived in Calgary, we brought her to a vet in the city, however after several visits, treatments and a lot of money spent, the vets there could not figure out what was wrong with her. Then 6 months ago, we moved to Chestermere and decided to bring her into Fauna Animal Hospital to see Dr. Sahi for Lily's ongoing sickness. After the first visit, we knew we made the right decision bringing Lily in since Dr. Sahi showed great concern/care and was determined to figure out the cause of Lily's sickness. Around the second visit, we knew the cause and Dr. Sahi was able to prescribed the correct treatment. Since then, Lily (being 14 years old) has gotten sick a few more times for different reasons and when we called Dr. Sahi for an appointment, he was always willing to see her right away with no hesitation. We are grateful that we could find a professional, but yet a sympathetic, personable, friendly Vet to care for our dear Lily.

I had my dog and kitten nuetered and spayed recently at Fauna and was very pleased. There was no complications. The vet also gave me extra pain medication and did not charge for it. I liked that everything was included in the price like the IV and initial pain medications. At first I thought that the vet came across as aggressive, but that wasn't the case, it's just how he talks, he is more excited then anything else. I could tell he cared about my animals by how gentle and talkative he was with them, and my dog liked him right away, (which is never the case with her). This is my new clinic, and I come all the way from Airdrie. I would definitely recommend it. Very good prices and care.

Dr. Sahi has spayed/neutered our kittens Ruby & Max, has done dental surgery on Sam & Bubbles, performed emergency surgery for a blockage on Bubbles, treated our dog Dudley’s ear infection, as well as the usual annual check-ups and vaccination for all 7 of our pets. When our very old cat, Sam, required post-surgical care, Dr. Sahi went the extra mile to ensure her comfort and full recovery. Dr. Sahi shows genuine affection and concern for the animals under his care, and my pets never seem unduly stressed by their visits. With the wide range of services Dr. Sahi has provided for us, we find his rates are very reasonable. We feel fortunate to have Dr. Sahi as our family veterinarian and have recommended him to our family and friends.

This is by far the WORSt clinic i have been in contact with. The staff is rude, dismissive and not helpful. I called to inquire about the cost of a bag of food and the veterinarian answered the phone only to tell me that it was "too hard" to look up the price of the food and that he wouldnt do it. He said if i needed to know the price I would have to bring in my animal for an exam and he would tell me then. It is also very evident that he writes his own good reviews on this website, which I dont believe to be very professional..

In our first visit - without an appointment - we were welcomed right in. Furthermore, in several other occasions without appointment – even though you were so busy – we still were seen and didn't have to wait long at all.

I have moved from Chestermere to a senior home close to Airdrie and the main question for me was: Should I find another vet to look after my little Muffin or keep going to Dr. Sahi which is not convenient anymore? What I have realized is there was no question at all. With his true love to animals, this incredible person reminds me of Dr. Dolittle. No seriously, you look at him and the way he treats animals, and you start to realize he helps these little friends in need because he loves them.

I very rarely write reviews ... but in this case I felt that I needed to do it. The other day I recommended Dr. Sahi to a friend of mine as the best veterinarian I have ever had. I was going to the gym and I got a call from my friend and he told me that he checked online and Dr. Sahi has received low reviews. It is a shameful & disgraceful how some people think they can benefit by adding low reviews to a person who truly does not deserve them. I canceled my training session in order to write this review. He is truly a nice, kind & caring person who adores animals of all sizes and ages. A one of a kind! My name is Alex Visotski with my pet, Julia. Thanks Dr. Sahi for your love you give to the animals.

Totally horrible place. The vet is so incredibly rude. He won't stop talking long enough to get the details with whats going on with your pet. He makes his mind up on something and that's that. I have been here far to many times and wasted a ton of money. Save your time spend the extra couple bucks to go to chetermeres other veterinary clinic.

We have two chihuahas who have required treatment, one for a flu virus and one for teeth cleaning and extractions. The work was very well done, the dogs recuperated rapidly and there was a follow up to ensure that the animals were responding well to the treatments/procedures. The price quoted was respected and the animals did receive the care we expected. We will return to this clinic.

When I saw that we were getting a second option regarding vetinary care in Chestermere I was happy, as I had tried the other vet in Chestermere and was not a fan of the atmosphere at the clinic. I had an opportunity to sample the service at Fauna Animal Hospital quite suddenly at the end of January 2013. The service that both myself and my dog received was prompt, professional and courteous, with each step being clearly explained when it was determined that my dog would require surgery. Dr. Sahi did not force any treatments or tests on us and even when a situation forced us to visit the vet's ahead of schedule, we were "fitted" in. I would recommend Dr. Sahi as the vet to use in Chestermere.

My wife and I recently moved to Chestermere and adopted a dog, so we needed a vet. We had some difficulty deciding which vet to choose in town (there are 2) but after calling both and doing some research we decided to go with this one. We now see why all these good reviews are recommending fauna animal hospital. He really tries to connect with you and your pet, so much patience. Their vet fee's are very very reasonable, but even if they charged higher we would still be bringing our dog to them. Another great thing is they are always on time for us and we met some other employees (we think son and wife? family businesses = better), friendly to us, the good thing about them being a small town vet is they have way more time to pay more attention to one pet instead of having 25 on their hands at once like a city veterinarian. We will be back and also bring our new pets we get in the future.

Many outstanding experiences! A++ for this vet! His knowledge, compassion & thoroughness is impessive! Professional, friendly & clean. His team members were equally great. We were visiting intown, so thought Fauna would be the closest vet, but discovered we came to the best anywhere! 1st- Made time to see puppy rightaway for concerns & charged very minimal. 2nd- Our other dog got poisoned, Dr.Sahi literally kept him alive & saved his life! 3rd- Brought dog back day after for more fluids etc, he recovered so fast. We even brought our 3rd dog in to meet Dr.Sahi as we will now be taking all our pets here from now on, it's worth the drive from Calgary! I'm shocked to see any bad reviews on him, some are surely fake from competition. Don't be quick to judge-give this vet a try and you will feel the love! He treats animals like they're his family. Even under pressure he was always nice, kind, gentle & patient with both us & our animals. His low prices imressed us too! Thanks Dr.Sahi & team!

Dr. Sahi has been instrumental in providing our pets with a very high quality of life. When another local vet insisted that the only way we could deal with our dog's skin condition by having expensive allergy testing, Dr. Sahi listened to us and tackled the issues on many fronts. Our dog is healthy and happy thanks to this professional's willingness to work with his clients. I know there are a couple of people who seem to take issue with this clinic, I have a hard time believing that Dr. Sahi makes choices without giving full consideration to the immediate situation. All of us love our pets and want to give them the very best. I choose to use Dr Sahi's services because he is a compassionate man with integrity. He truly cares for our pets and strives to do his very best.

Dr. Sahi is an awesome, very knowledgeable and practical vet. My rottweiler(Rambo) got foot trauma and was very difficult to work on but Dr. Sahi did a wonderful job. Fauna Animal Hospital has very reasonable prices. For annual vaccination shots I was only charged 80 dollars! The staff at this clinic is very nice and helpful. I also recommended this clinic to my friends and family friends, they are also very happy with this clinic.

I really don't understand where the other people are coming from when they complain about services.. I have two small dogs by the name of Billy and Minnie and Dr. Sahi has been nothing but kind and gentle to both the dogs and us.He always has the dogs in mind when it comes to sickness or surgeries they have had.. He calls to check up on them and makes sure they are healing like they are suppose to!! What vet makes a call for follow up or asks you to come in so he can make sure they are ok!! No one!!, We will continue to go there where we know they will get service they need and the dogs are happy to go! I will also continue to recommend his services to anyone and everyone who asks where we go for a wonderful vet!

This is by far the worst clinic i have ever been to.Staff were clueless. Dr.Sahi seemed to have no compassion for animals and didnt even care to get a history on any pets that walked in.My poor dog was handled with such disrespect and was tied to a kennel to lay on the cold floor for her last moments alive. I was there for 3 hours to have my suffering dog put down when there was one other person there.The floors had dried blood and the table was filthy.I could hardly understand him.I work at a clinic and have been to many clinics aswell and never seen a clinic this bad.If you love your pet you will not bring them here.

Hi to all of you reading this. I have to say that I’m quite disappointed with (in my mind ) false accusations in regards to this clinic. I was proud owner of GSD Kiki and Dr. Sahi and his personnel, was huge help getting through the pain and suffering with my dog. Even today, my other dog Missy, needed his help and Dr. Sahi was there to help. Why would anybody then believe in this accusations? I could complain more about dentist. I do understand that none of you reading this will take my words 100% serious, but you should. Bad and false comments are really hurting this person, and I think that none of people leaving this comments realized that in the moment when messages and comments are written. We are teaching our kids to be honest and solve problems without hurting others, why we adults are doing this?. Even when my dog was dying in my hands, I saw tier in his eye. He is caring and sensitive vet professional. Im not person which can be bought by one or two bags of cheap dog food

It was the first and only time I called there, it will certainly be the last! A simple question as to much much a service would cost should be a pretty standard question! I called to get a price on pet food and the one day I called 2 times, the guy said he line was down...fair enough...I called the next morning and this most horrible rude man answered and won't give me any information....he told me to come into the clinic, which I am not driving, and after that he basically said if I didn't come into the clinic, he didn't want my business and hung up on me. I have been to afew vet clinics with my 14 year old pets and have never encounter such rudeness over such a simple matter...take note people...if this is how he treated me over the phone....I hate to think how he treats our pets when we aren't around....

Awful experience - my poor dog!! They muzzled him for his shot and he had never been muzzled and then tranquilized him to groom him - WITHOUT my authorization - so i show up to a woozy dog and have to lift my huge dog in to the truck!! My dog has been to pet stores for grooming with no problems. Will never take my animals there again.

The Dr was ok, the assistant was very good she helped me control my dog, however the Dr sprayed air freshener on my dog, my dog is an outside acreage dog, he's never going to smell like flowers. I thought it was a bit weird.

Very friendly and cooperative staff. Dr. Sahi goes above and beyond.I don't know many Veteranarian's who will call you back personnally with test results and recommend treatment for an ailing family cat. But I can tell you that Dr. Sahi does...because he cares.
