11/16/12   1     4     1     1   Please read my story here: http://justiceforcharlotte.blogspot.com/ This is a story of injustice, pain, suffering, and irreversible damage, all inflicted on my cat Charlotte because of the misdiagnosis of a malignant sarcoma, by NYC Veterinary Specialists aka BluePearl Veterinary Partners LLC. The diagnosis and advice which was given to me, combined with the actions of the doctors at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners resulted in an UNNECESSARY limb amputation on my cat Charlotte. RID: 38519
Click to report rating    8/9/11   5     5     5     5   NYC Veterinary Specialists is the best veterinary facility I have ever encountered in the 40 years I have been a pet owner. My relationship with NYC VS lasted for 3 years. My first experience with the facility came when I needed a second opinion on a cancer diagnosis of my cat Schmoo. They promptly scheduled a test with an oncology specialist. While waiting for results, my cat had a severe episode and an ER specialist saw my cat and saved her life on the spot. When the results came back, Schmoo did have cancer & I was given a range of treatment options for her. I chose to treat her rather than put her to sleep. Schmoo, who was pretty much at death's door when we first went to NYC Veterinary specialists got better and lived happily for 3 more years. In this whole period, (she had check ups monthly) EVERY member of the NYC vet staff was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and especially loving toward both me and my little cat. I cannot say enough nor thank them enough for their wonderful work. RID: 26821
Click to report rating    7/23/11   5     5     4     4   Great hospital. My cat had cancer and the oncologists and critical care doctors were very attentive and realistic. I eventually elected to euthanize due to the poor prognosis. Doctors were honest and forthcoming. The are expensive but understandable given the number of staff and being a 24 hour facility. Would highly recommend. RID: 26406
6/12/11   1     1     1     1   Horrible place for all animals. Techs are under trained and cruel to animals. Drs. are detached and uncaring while recommending expensive and unnecessary painful procedures to inflate the bill. There are better choices in NYC - avoid at all costs. RID: 25562
