I have taken my dogs here for the last 6 years and the treatment costs increase while the patient care has significantly decreased. Wanting to sell dog food over care, pushing unnecessary treatment but not follow up care. I won't be back.

Brought my sick dog in - they kept her overnight on IV - next morning not any better said they didn't have time to operate on her - we could take her to the animal hospital if we wanted it done right away - they guessed the price tag would be a minimum of $1000.00, we made a couple of calls and took her to Highview Vet Clinic in High River - they did her right away for less than $400.00. What a joke! Their was a different Vet on duty when we went to pick her up and she said - she would have absolutely did the operation on her that day. Guess there is a total breakdown in communication between vets on duty. SHame

We have been using Due south for many years and over many pets life times. We will continue to use them even though we have moved to the NW. We have the utmost respect for the Vet's and the staff. Would recommend to anyone who asks.

This clinic agreed to pill our sick cat because they were close to our home (our regular vet clinic is far from home and our cat was very difficult to pill). We thought this was a very gracious and kind gesture, especially in a stressful time, when we were dealing with our cat's cancer. The vet techs pilled out cat several times, but on one visit Dr. Strick insisted on seeing our cat. We agreed. Dr. Strick's approach was very cold and uncaring, and I left that clinic in tears and never went back. We used to get our cat food at Due South because it was less expensive than at our regular vet clinic, but after my terrible experience with Dr. Strick I actually pay more money for cat food as I would rather support a loving and caring vet clinic. I will say though that the vet techs at Due south were wonderful.

This Would have to be one of the most outstanding Veterinaru clinics I have been to. Not only are all the staff so accommodating and friendly but I feel safe leaving with my pet after it has been treated. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and such a welcoming tone. This is how it is every time, no matter who is working that day. I've been a customer here for a couple years now and only have good things to say. Highly recommended, even against the spiteful last review!!

I called Due South 2 days ago to refill a prescription for our beagle as I have done for many years.they said no problem. hours later they called to say they can't refill it today as they haven't examined him since 2009.i said i would be happy to bring him in for an exam but it was not possible that very day (it was 230pm) and if they could just give us a few days' worth I would have time to make an appointment. the receptionist said No Exam, No Refill! i could hardly believe they would let an animal suffer a day without the medicine that he relies on when they have been refilling this (expensive) med for years, that is very unreasonable and asked to speak to someone, she said no one was available. I asked for someone to please call me back asap to discuss this then. no call came. yesterday morning i took my beagle to the Cranston vet clinic instead for a problem-free exam and the vanectyl refill. it is now two days later, and Due South has still not even bothered to return my call.
