Mitchell Animal Service is the only service I have used for my loved ones. I have received such good service, honest advice and expertise assessment, I have no reason to seek out any other veterinarian service. Gerald was absolutely stunning in his sensitivity when we had to release our first dog from his pain. I will always remember his respectful and sensitive approach. With both Michou and Louie we have received outstanding service from Jordyn. It is obvious he is truly dedicated to an animal's well being, and we feel fortunate to have access to these specialists who provide both a personal and professional perspective of what is occurring in my dogs life. I would not feel comfortable taking my loved ones anywhere else. I do not understand those with complaints about the service. It is unfortunate and I have to think that something else was going on during this time. It is easy to blame those close to the situation when our pain is so raw.

Dr. Gerald Gyorffy took great care with our lethargic puppy (who wouldn't eat) and my 13 year old son (who was very worried and anxious). His suggested treatment of a fluid injection and some enticing Urgent Care wet food worked splendidly. He was professional and compassionate and I was impressed that he took the time to answer all of my son's questions. So now our little Winston is full of energy: he is bouncing around, wagging his tail, and happy as can be. Dr. Gyorffy called us at home twice to check on Winston's progress. My family has been taking our dogs to Mitchell Animal Hospital since the 80s! It is a superior clinic with compassionate veterinarians and I will continue trusting them with the care of our dog.

My dog has been terrified of vets her whole life. She was having trouble moving and I was ridiculously unhappy with our old vet so didn't want to take her back there... so we found Mitchell Animal hospital and Jordyn Hewer. Piton loved him, even though she was in pain and even though I thought she wasn't going to be coming home with us again. Instead he took the time to be gentle with her and showed a true aptitude with animals. He was able to diagnose her and help her ... and we got to bring her home again. :) I love that he took the time to explain why he thought he knew what the problem was, what the limitations were to what he was able to find out and what our next steps were. There was blood work that could have been done (and honestly I would have paid for it without blinking) but he didn't want to do it because he didn't think it would give us any new information and it would have stressed my dog. Hands down Jordyn is the best vet I have ever interacted with.

we were looking after our daughters dog while she was on her honeymoon and the 15 year old sheltie died. the staff were terrific with us and understood our tears and were very supportive.

I just got a dog in September and my experience with Mitchell animal hospital has been amazing. Amber is a fantastic vet, the techs are also amazing, and the front staff are super friendly and helpful. My dog required a lot of care upon going there and the staff helped make it a less stressful experience by answering all my questions and clearly explaining everything my dog was given. They are so great to Ipsy and make her feel like family!

A while back, our family took out cat into Mitchell animal hospital as she wasn't eating and had gone from being a plump cat to very thin. She was diagnosed as having anorexia. We didn't know anything about anorexia in cats and assumed that our cat was getting the best possible care. Since that time, as we have learned more and researched, it is our belief that when she had been taken to the vet the first time, there would have been no coming back from it, the disease was too progressed. Instead we shelled out money for vet bills,various medications and expensive food we had to force feed her. As a result, her last few weeks were very painful and traumatic for her and us and she died an excruciating death on the floor of the emergency clinic in front of our family, including my daughters. We have since taken our animals to another veterinarian.

My experience with this clinic was wonderful. You are greeted by staff that are very kind and truly care for your pets. The doctor's and technicians are very knowledgable and are very sweet to both me and my pets. I will definitely continue to go to Mitchell Animal Hospital and would recommend it to anyone

I was judged. Staff was very rude. Gerald and another vet put my dog's health in doubt with an incorrect diagnosis. Had another dog react badly to shots. They way over-charge and really care more about money than anyone's beloved pets. Pester about shots excessively for money. Not all shots are necessary every year or three years. I waited over 1-2 hours regularly for scheduled appointments. Staff snobby and extremely rude. Staff and vets very judgmental. They are totally about the money. They prefer well-off clients who pay, pay, pay Abd don't ask questions. Follow-up and support for a dog of mine who was painfully sick non-existent - not sensitive to an animal's pain - had to wait 2 hours while my dog was in agony. Don't care about people's feelings either. Not into alternative treatment choices cause they earn them less. I would never go back there. Was fine vet clinic til Gerald became owner. He's a narcissist!

I miss some of the older vets who have moved on. Find the younger, newer vets more inexperienced. One technician not very friendly. Made a stink about my cat's weight, switching her to low fat cat food from urinary stuff I had her on due to bladder problems. Ended up with urinary tract infection, 400.00 later, back on urinary tract food. Also had a bad experience with office manager giving me advice on my puppy's bad manners. Kinda wierd...

Agree with the comments previously posted. Especially Dr Gerald and Natalie are the best in the region. Wouldn't go to any other clinic! Dr Natalie is always very compassionate and caring and will work with you based on your affordability and also your wishes and outlook on traditional and non traditional medicine. Dr Gerald is awesome too.

This place is the best. They may charge a little more than some low cost clinics in town but they are extremely knowledgable, thorough and caring. How they monitor anesthesia and research cases extensively. Dr Natalie is the sweetest vet and is so smart. She will explain everything to you better than any other vet I've ever seen and I always feel my pet is in the best care with her.

Everyone at that clinic from head to toe is a class act. Dr Gerald Geoffrey especially in many circumstances taking the extra determination to make sure I was a satisfied customer. He is very knowledgeable,caring and sincere when it came to treating my dogs. He also went out of his way to suggest other remedies or what have you. I was very pleased speaking with and dealing with Mitchell Animal Hospital

I have been taking my dog to Dr, Geoffrey for two years now. He is knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Mitchell Animal Hospital is more expensive than some Animal hospitals in K-W, but the vets and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The only problem I have is punctuality. The only reason I should have to wait past my appointment time is if an emergency comes in. I always wait anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.

This clinic is awesome I've been to 1 or 2 other clinics and have not found one where my pets are treated like family the techs are knowledgeable and take time to get to know your pet I will recommend them to anyone who cares about there pets!!

This is the only vet I've ever been to, so I don't have much to compare. It was recommended by a friend, and I have not been disappointed. Staff is super friendly and patient. Love the website and the weekend/evening availability is great. After adopting my cat, I did lots of research [online] regarding the best food, but after trying the new 'good' stuff, she had some digestive discomfort. I then switched her to the brand recommended by the Vet at MAH, and she is now healthy and happy.

Used this vet once and will never return. My cat needed some blood work done. They used three people to do this and charged me for the extra people. My 100% docile cat actually growled during this because they were just about breaking his leg. If he hadn't been so sick and in need of immediate medication I would have walked out on the spot. They charged me $147.53 plus tax for the blood work. I just moved to a different vet and was charged $44.07 including tax. These people are obviously thieves, with money being their main priority.

I decided to try Mitchell as my previous vet clinic was in it only for the money even suggesting I euthanize my cat - I took the laxative approach and he survived just fine. Other than the front staff not booking my appointment correctly (I was very specific that my cat was violent and would need to be masked down - which takes time - more than 20 minutes she booked for me - and also multiple staff for their safety who weren't available that late in the day) I can honestly say that the vet was amazing and very understanding of my predicament. My cat is very difficult and has several complicating health issues. I thought it was handled admirably and economically. My cat is in better health now than ever- his disposition is far better and no vet tech was injured in the process.

I've been generally happy with taking my dog to Mitchell Animal Hospital. They've taken time to talk to me and to give me information when I've needed it. They're gentle with my dog, who loves going to see them. Their prices are a bit higher than the other vet clinic I've been to in town (Breslau) but not enough for me to change vets. I liked that when my dog was overweight they didn't try to push the food they sell. (I reduced his current food and started giving him vegetables and he went back down to an appropriate weight.) When my dog injured his cruciate ligament, I thought they were a bit fast to suggest surgery, which is very expensive. (I asked for other options and they suggested 6 months of strict rest, which worked brilliantly. He's back to running now.) When my dog ate some cream they looked up the active ingredient for me and let me know by email he should be OK. (He was. ) I appreciated saving the cost of visit. Recommended.

I love my vet she is awesome to all the dogs! She listens to you and does not try to get you just to buy expensive medications for every little thing. I always see the same vet Dr. Janutka she is the best!
