Click to report rating    10/10/21   5     5     5     5   Dr. Aziz saw us with an emergency for our small dog who seemed to be having seizures. He saw us after hours in am emergency situation. I can’t thank Dr. Aziz enough for his excellent care, diagnosis. He did blood work with results, took temperature, gave injection and hooked her to an I.V. for a time. He prescribed medications and described what was going on and what to do at home. I can’t say enough about her care there and can’t thank Dr. Aziz enough. He called the next day to check on her. Click to report rating    6/8/21   1     1     1     1   I had to go to this vet as an emergency and I am speechless. The vet was so unhygienic, he gave my cat a rectal thermometer with no gloves and started making notes on his sheet without washing his hands. I refused further care so he made me sign a form (handed me the form and pen without washing his hands) and cashed me out (also without washing his hands). I hope he sanitized between the previous patient and us, but I don't think so. He also charged over $100 just to check her heart rate and take her temperature. RID: 69992
Click to report rating    11/21/19   1     1     1     1   I have taken my dog here for several years now, and every experience has been horrible. I only really come for a yearly physical. Every year the two puppies come to greet us at the door, jump up on my legs and near my dog (who does not like other dogs). There is urine stains everywhere, which the doctor (Dr.Aziz) claimed was made by our dog... which it was not. The secretary put the two pups in a kennel, and when I commented how adorable they were, she said they put them in there to shut them up. Dr.Aziz was very rough with handling my dog, he asked me to hold my clearly terrified six year-old Shih Tzu down as he performed the physical. Then, Dr.Aziz, attempted to give my dog a deworming pill. My dog wasn't fond of the pill pocket, and spat it out. Then he practically choked my dog, and stuffed the pill pocket down his throat! The other person with me told him to stop, as my dog immediately began having issues breathing, his eyes turning red, but he refused! Horrible experience! RID: 68754

3/8/18   2     2     1     1   Very Unprofessional. They are all out to empty out your wallet rather than to care for your beloved pets. Avoid ! RID: 65721
Click to report rating    9/3/17   1     1     1     1   07/16/14 <--- the review written below on this date, he does not deserve to be called a vet. He tortured, blinded and caused internal bleeding to our cat after we trusted Dr Aziz so much. He is all about the money, and procedures that don't need to be done, he makes you feel like they need to. Take your animal ?anywhere but here. He is now under investigation with the college of vets... -Jessica and Linda LaRose RID: 64576

2/23/17   5     5     5     5   Dr. Aziz, you are the best VET, we have ever met! Your professionalism, amazing care for our/your pets/patients is extremely comforting. You have always explained thoroughly your recommendations towards the health of the animal. You have always gone above and beyond to make sure all your patients have been taken care of, to the very best of your ability. I've never questioned your professional advise! Your staff have always been professional, very polite and accommodating. Your clinic has always been extremely clean. Very good qualities to have, when dealing with ones loved ones and as a business! Again a big THANK YOU!!! RID: 62797

Click to report rating    9/3/16   5     4     5     4   I have used this veterinary clinic for my black lab mix for regular check ups/needles/neutering. Also had two emergency situations handled by Dr Aziz. He is always very patient and caring with my dog's treatments. I would highly recommend this clinic. RID: 61495
Click to report rating    7/7/16   3     1     3     3   The environmental conditions in this clinic is horrible for animals and employees. It has no air conditioning and smells like cat urine all of the time. Very unhealthy! RID: 61049
Click to report rating    6/19/16   1     1     1     1   DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE, EVER. Its all about the money, and not the well being of your animal!! Go to the Emergency or Clarkson Animal Hospital, they are open 24/7. You think you will save money with him, but all he wants to do is unnecessary operations and tests to pay his rent. RID: 60883

Click to report rating    6/18/15   1     1     1     1   Terrible clinic. Do not bring your dog here. The vet does not care for dogs and their well-being, his primary concern is making money. RID: 57461
Click to report rating    4/16/15   2     3     2     4   Very good for the simple things like vaccinations or simple checkup with cats BUT no idea when it comes to Bulldogs or out of the ordinary situations. My bulldog has a thyroid issue and when I questioned the Dr. about her limping while walking I was told it was because she was overweight. I was so glad I got a second opinion elsewhere as it turned out she had a slip disc in her neck and could be paralyzed if we used a collar and leash and she pulled. Staff are ok if you get the right one, should really not have the two yappy dogs in the clinic meeting you at the door, very unprofessional. Neighbour took their dog here as well, the clinic had no idea what was wrong with her. If you have no complicated issues go here but anything out of the ordinary the clinic seems to be at a loss on the direction to take. RID: 56668
Click to report rating    10/8/14   1     1     1     1   Dr. Aziz is extremely unprofessional. This is the worst Vet I've ever gone to. When I first got insurance I asked Dr. Aziz to submit in my pet's health records. Three months later I found out from my insurance company that he never did. His assistants are also very rude. There is no sort of empathy or respect at this clinic. RID: 53961
Click to report rating    7/16/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Aziz, You are the best vet we could have ever asked for. You are full of pure knowledge to help us all the time with our 4 kitties. We know we can bring any of our kitties to you without a worry because you will always make them comfortable and get them back to health. You take hours with us every time we see you and answer so many of the worrisome questions we have... even if we ask them twice lol. What a pure blessing it was to be referred to you by Rukie De Alwis. Not only do you work so long and hard, but your big heart really allows us to feel comfort in the fact that you are such an advocate for our animals who cant speak. You are such a heaven sent angel because without you, we would have lost Romeo with his respiratory infection and Amy when she had plastic stuck in her tummy. We have not only struck the lottery with having you as a vet, but more-so having you as a friend we can always count on. We love you!! — Jessica and Linda LaRose.xoxo RID: 52597
Click to report rating    5/22/14   1     1     1     1   I have a two yrs old cat who had a broken hip as a kitten before adoption. I took him to Dr. Alaa for vaccination. He didn't ask me anything and tried to give the vaccine in the hip.My cat went crazy as he still suffers. He asked me to hold him as there was no assistant to help. My cat started hissing. I told him i will take the cat home and bring him later on. Later that day my husband took the cat and same thing happened and then decided to use anesthesia mask to get him dizzy a bit. My cat got into seizure and the doctor didn't know what to do, Thank God that my husband pulled the mask off otherwise my cat would have died. I can forgive bad service but not hurting my pet. I still don't understand how a vet can care only about money and not the animal. He charged us close to $750 in 3 visits that we had overall. which the story i told you was the last visit and he cared about collecting his money more than anything. Didn't even call to check up on the cat. RID: 51705
Click to report rating    10/4/13   5     5     5     5   Dr. Aziz is a miracle worker. I can not relay my feelings really on how he has saved my dog's life 3 times now. Jumped through hoops!Literally! I have been to many highly recommended vetsover 20 years and he is by far the only one I could sincerely trust and not worry with the life of my baby. Will never go anywhere else. Please feel free to contact me should you require further substantiation. Janina Kraus RID: 47387
Click to report rating    4/4/13   5     5     5     5   My senior cat has been there twice for two life threatening concerns. In both cases the level of equipment allowed for a disgnosis and a course of action within an hour. Try doing that if you are human and go to Credit Valley! He has an emergency number and is really accessible - in fact he and his wife (also a vet) performed an emergency procedure at 11:00 pm Easter Sunday because it was neccessary. Is he the cheapest vet in town ? No. Is this good value? Yes. Language can be a minor barrier - just listen and clarify and everything is fine. I highly recommend Dr. Aziz. RID: 41527
Click to report rating    4/6/12   5     5     5     5   Dr. Aziz is an amazing doctor. He loves your pets like his own, and he understands the fact that our pets are our families. When we took our cat, Maki, in for bladder stones, we thought it was hopeless, and that we had to put Maki down. But Dr. Aziz was very determined to save Maki, and reassured us that he would do everything he could for Maki. Our cat is fine now, all thanks to Dr. Aziz. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic, the quality of service is incomparable. You wont find another doctor out there that will love and care for your pets like Dr. Aziz and his staff do. Thank you Dr.! Juli and Carol RID: 33386
Click to report rating    1/18/12   5     5     5     5   I feel I must comment on the reveiw written on 10/12/11. If you read it carefully I think you will find that the Client didn't have anything done except an exam and the skin analyzed. I don't know any Vet that would charge $182 for an examination and skin analysis. That would be outrageous. This sounds more than bogus to me. You are supposed to tell the truth when you write a review. I have been a Client at Aquitaine since it opened it's doors 3 years ago. I have a dog and I rescue cats so you can imagine the amount of times I have to visit a Vet. Dr. Aziz and his staff have always been professsional, friendly, honest and up front. I always know ahead of time what the cost is and what needs to be done. Prices are also very reasonable in comparison. If you enter with a bad attitude, no matter where you go, things will not go well. I hope the review of 10/12/11 will not deter you from giving this Clinic a try. I'm sure you will be pleased. Click to report rating    10/12/11   1     2     2     1   This is the WORST vet BY FAR that I have ever gone to. I brought my puppy just to get vaccines (supposed to be incl. check-up 77$). He was UNPROFESSIONAL and disrespectful, he started questioning the legitimacy of her previous vaccines. After, he examined her skin decided he had to look at it under microscope, he grabbed the MOST unhygienic tweezers (you could see things on it) and took pieces flaking skin and put them on a little glass to check under the microscope. On his way there he DROPPED EVERYTHING ON THE GROUND, "picked it up" and spent 3 secs "checking under the microscope" --> he wanted to charge me 30$ for this without previous warning. He told me to get some stuff i didn't need (I asked the new vet). In the end I ended up spending 182.00$ this NOT including what he wanted to charge me for his "microscope examination" because I refused to pay for it, and WITHOUT any vaccines. He also said I should give them separately (so I would of had to come back 3 times x 45.00$ + the v RID: 28264
Click to report rating    5/31/11   3     3     4     3   i came into ownership of a lookalike huge obese garfield cat when I bought my T.H. I find that the clinic under the cat's medical care, was not following up on the obesity of the cat. I wonder why he got to that point and why wasnt the vet following up on his diet? RID: 25315
