We have taken our animals there a lot in the past couple years, but have had too many issues to go back. Yes the vet is on call which is convenient. Our cat suffers from very bad UTI infections, and gets them when the weather changes. This last time they sent us home with a bunch of meds, the cats infection returned soon after, they gave more meds and told us not to worry he wasn't blocked. Three days later the cat is so sick, so they said he needed to come overnight to be flushed for a fee of 800$-1200$ for 1 NIGHT. When I complained of the cost I was told I could take the cat to the ER and that might be better because she said they were very busy, I mean who says that? I ended up taking the cat to a new vet, whom was very compassionate and gave us many new insights into our cats condition. It did cost us just shy of 1000$, but he received more tests and excellent care for 3 NIGHTS and 3 DAYS. Also I should add if we hadn't taken the cat when we did he would have died!

I have used this clinic for years for all my pets; cats, dogs, horses, goats, and birds. The care my pets receive is top notch. They are very professional and I would highly recommend them. I have had several after hours calls through the years and Dave always responds promptly.

Called their emergency service when my pet had a seizure on a Sunday morning left a message no one called me back. Will never take any of my pets there again. The vet that was on call I see is no longer there.

This clinic is great. Living on a full time farm (all types of animals) time and money are both very valuable. Over the years we have been to a few other clinics and this one is the best. It is at least half the price of any other clinic, the staff are very friendly and are also well educated. They have always been able to figure out what is going on with our animals and how to fix them. They are very willing to answer any questions. They NEVER recommend anything that does NOT need to be done (ex: injecting a horse as a preventative as it eventually does more damage than good unless they need the injections to help the animal preform). They are very accomidationg. They will meet you at the clinic at 3 am or drive out to your house. They even will drive out to your home and put down your companion if it is easier on you and your animal (ex: putting down our gelding). They also do payment plans. They truely CARE about the animal; their main concern is YOUR animal. Highly recommend!

I will never call this vet out again . Last week they came out to geld our horse. Our horse was under for a long time. We were told that the anestetic would wear off almost immediately after the surgery was over. It didnt. It took a long time for him to come around and they had to force him to get up. They didnt check his vitals to make sure that he was ok. They just left him. The rest of that day and evening it was clear that something was wrong with our horse. He looked like he was still drugged. His head was covered in sweat, his eyes ere filled wirh discharge, he was shaking and he looked like he was going to collapse. I called the emergency line that morning and dave came out. He didnt even have a watch on him to take his heartrate. He had to borrow mine. He said that he wasnt concerned. He took his blood and left me standing there with a very sick horse. My horses continued to decline and i called another vet out. They found that his liver count was thru the roof. The next day w

Used them as a secondary vet, never have any prescriptions filled, misdiagnosed. Not polite on the phone, diagnosed something without even examining or touching my pet. Did not listen to me on my pets needs. I will continue to travel over an hour for good service.

Have been going to this vet for a couple years. They are very knowledgable and respectful. The pricing is reasonable and they do not overcharge as bad as some other vet clinics for medications. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic and the veterinarians.

HAD TO PUT OUR BELOVED CAT DOWN, it was horrible PLEASE do not let them put your pets down..scared the hell out of our poor cat, shaving his leg, then missed his vein and took 4 people to hold our poor cat down until the end. that is our last memories of our buddy looking at us for help...Then we heard other people telling us of the same horrible experience at this clinic..Please reconsider..it was a awful experience we can not forget...

Have taken both our cat and dog to Onoway Clinic and have always been very pleased, We recently had to have our aging cat put down and both she and we were treated with the utmost respect.

I have solely used Onoway Vet clinic for about 3 years now for my 5 dogs. And in those three years the staff have been respectful to both me and my dogs. The wait times have always been next to none(just phone ahead and let them know your on your way with a patient). The office has always been clean orderly. Finally the best of all for anyone who doesn't have pet insurance Onoway Vet has the lowest prices that I have seen. I've recommend Onoway to friends and quite a few strangers and continue to use then to this very day.

Took my 19 yr. old Yorkie in for nail clipping. Was accused of abuse due to dog's weight and lack of body mass. Dr. Eve ? made several unverified diagnosis including diabetes and told me dog was in extreme pain and openly questioned if dog had seen a Vet in last while. Never conducted a single test before making accusations. Took dog to my regular Vet, had full blood work and urine analysis done. Both tests turned up completely normal results. The one Vet at Onoway turns out to be a an over-reacting accusatory non-professional who gives opinions before testing. BE VERY CAREFUL if you follow advice from this Vet.

I've been using this clinic for years. They treat all my animals and are amazing every time. They refer responsibly and are extremely supportive when clients are going through tough times. They have the knowledge to deal with rarer issues that most vets have never seen. Their prices are significantly better than the in town vets and they answer my questions without making me feel like I'm wasting their time. I would recommend them to anyone.
