Dr. Poole treats small animals.He mis-diagnosed my dog for months saying he was over weight when he had a serious health problem. His arrogance is sickening.When I requested another Vet to see my dog, Dr.poole took the chart out of the bin, read what it said and then forcefully threw it back in the bin. I paid good money to have my animal attended but was disrespected instead. Dr. Thoni is the owner who works with the larger animals. he had told me 10 yrs ago anytime I wanted him to look at my dog to let them know and he would come up front and see him. I asked 6 times and he was either in surgery or already gone...yet I had been told on the phone we could see him. Dis appointing no doubt. one of the other vets was going to give my dog a rx that he was already taking..guess he wasn't paying much attention to what was written in his chart huh? Bottom line, don't take an animal to Kilgore Vet. Assts in Kilgore Tx if you value your precious animal. There are much better in the area.
