I brought my shar pei (Lilly) here to have a lump inspected on her belly after a 400$ vet bill I was reassured that the lump was non cancerous I was given some prednisone to treat the lump Dr Whitcomb was quick to rule it a skin condition because of her breed. Over the course of the next 2 weeks my shar pei got progressively worse having gained 30-40 red spots witch became very inflamed began to puss and pop during these 2 weeks I was in contact with the vet almost daily telling him something is not right she seems to be getting worse on the medication again over and over Dr Whitecomb insisted that it was a skin disease very comon in the breed, he also said she may be having an allergic reaction and to give her some Benadryl to help. The spots began to dry out and scab over Dr Whitecomb said this was normal after a few days Lilly became lethargic she wouldn’t eat food , treats anything would not go outside was very low energy I called Dr Whitecomb once again and expressed my concerns

Nothing the less of absolutely disgusted. My naturalist vet back in Vermont actually confirmed that Baxter Veterinary was making up UTI's, a varying white blood cell count and different things regarding a blood panel which they charged us over one hundred dollars for only to send to my VT vet and be told she is completely fine and didn't need the 3 antibiotics they had been telling us to give her. Her blood work was COMPLETELY HEALTHY. Imagine that! They were also the same vet we filed a complaint with for dragging our 12yo black lab across the clinic floor because her toenails were causing her to slide on their floor. Awful people with no heart just in it for the money. Scam someone that deserves it, not a helpless dog.

Excellent service. I find most vet clinics costly, this is why I dont bring my pets to a vet regularly, only when very necessary. Very pleasant environment and experience. These people obviously care about the animals brought in and I felt no undue pressure to purchase any test, processes or medications. Everything was discussed clearly.

It all depends who you get... Dr. Maskery is more interested in selling dog food and prescriptions (prescribes the same ear treatments for chronic ear infection even though it does not work and you tell her so... and for whatever reason can't seem to find the fact that she has prescribed the same junk over and over...). Dr. Blatt seems more interested in finding the root cause and suggesting alternatives rather than just having you dole out money for items they sell.

I absolutely love the clinic and bring both my fur babies here as well as came to the clinci with my families childhood dog. Dr. Baxter is an amazing vet I trust her completely when it comes to my pets. Also the other vet's there as well are very knowledgable as well. Though this clinic can be a little pricey it worth it for the piece of mind! Also if you do have to choose a cheaper facility for a surgical intervention for your pet they do not hold that against you when returning for routine check-ups and other care. Love this Clinic!!!

The staff was amazing with my animals, although I was disappointed in the cost and extra fee I was charged for a minimal service. Also, I found a quoted procedure to be few hundred dollars more than the same procedure I had done in London, Ontairo.
