I'm very pleased with how professional Dr. Freyts is. He explains what's going on and lays things out easy for me to understand so I am better to weigh my options.

I adopted a rescued kitten from "PACT People and Cat Together". They gave me a list of veterinarians in the area who perform complimentary well cat exams on rescues. ??PACT gives the rescues vaccinations, advantage and a deworming for which they provided a document. I showed this document to Dr. Dmitry Freyts and he told me that a deworming needed to be done. The paper said it had been done 5/21/2011, but a 2nd dose was needed he said. Then he said I needed to come back to have yet another dose. His explanation became muddled. I referred him to the document again. He convinced me to accept and pay for another deworming for $25. ??The staff would not acknowledge any wrong doing by the doctor even when I presented my document. They said that I "authorized" the deworming verbally and that I would not receive a refund. Thinking about this now, I am fairly sure that at other animal hospitals I have had to sign an authorization instead of giving a verbal one.?? Lesson learned.
