Dr. Jennifer Tacia is absolutely wonderful. We switched vets to one more convenient and our pet was calm (normally he tries to hide behind me). He seemed to be more relaxed and calm in the waiting room (the other vet, who we liked as well, just too long of a drive he would whine while waiting and a little anxious and growled etc). Not at Tidewater. He's 6 yrs old and always went to the same vet with the same rxns. At Tidewater it was like we had a completely different dog. We were shocked at how calm he was in the waiting area and even while being seen by the Vet Tech and the doc (Dr. Tacia). He seemed to be comfortable there, which made us feel better as well. We were down right amazed at his calmness and knew we made the right decision (if he's happy we're happy). He even let the Tech and Dr. Tacia pet him w/o growling, normally he won't allow this and we muzzle him so he would not bite, but he was calm. We did muzzle him for the shot and exam, but really did not need to.Great Place!
