Would not recommend this vet to anyone. Hated to give them a 1. He doesn't know what he is doing. Took a cat to him with an infection in the leg 4 weeks later infection worse and wants more money. The vet just keeps charging every time we go in sedates him pokes around him stitches him up sends him home infections still there. This vet should take on some responsibility as he is a Doctor.

Took my dog in for an ear cleaning when she had an infection, never even got to speak with the actual vet, and he shot her up with antihistamines and ran blood tests without advising me, which is absolutely unacceptable. When I questioned the vet tech, she was extremely snotty and told me that obviously the vet knows what's best for my dog. She then told me the ear infections are a result of allergies to her food and tried to sell me on their super expensive food (which made my dog lose a ton of weight that she didn't need to lose, even though she was eating the same amount as before). I asked if I could speak to the vet, was told no, and never was put through to him whenever I called. DO NOT SEND YOUR ANIMALS HERE.

The staff tells you what's wrong with your pet before even looking at your pet. Told me in minutes that I had to put my dog down and then billed me $1000.00 to leave with my dead dog .... Utterly shameful. If you love your pet you will go somewhere else.

Push un needed meds!!!over pricing on testing for blood work and meds!And doesn't take time to look at animal befor stating what is wrong. I have spent way to much months at this place. I FIRMLY BELIEVE HE OVER CHARGES with up selling services not needed.

I can always rely on Dr. Sharma to take good care of my dog, Teddy. Dr. Sharma is an excellent vet. Every time I go there, I am very impressed with the professional way he treats his customers and patients. His staff are extremely friendly and patient. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Kamloops.

Took my yellow lab in. Vet said he blew both acl in both knees. Wanted to do around eight hundred dollars of xrays and blood work. We walked out. Went to another vet, dog ended up being diagnosed with one xray that he has infection in his spine. Do not go there people. He tries to up sale u on everything, makes you feel guilty

This is a great vet, good hours, reasonable rates and they care about the animals they treat.

Couldn't tell me what was wrong with my cat. Tried to upsell me on their expensive cat food. Tried to upsell me to keep the cat overnight and for $500 on top of the $300 we already paid for visit and bloodwork. Eventually we took the cat home where she began to wither and hide(they do this before death). We used the internet to find out how if we could do anything. Found out you can use PEDIA-LITE from drug store($10)and force feed them. It brought the cat right back to life. I'm sure he knew of this method but if he tells you then he can't charge the extra $500 for overnight visit. If we weren't so pro-active our cat would have surely died, even though she was only a couple years old. Stuff like this is why people think some vets are unethical or just money hungry. I don't expect services to be free or inexpensive but getting no answers for $300 and then finding them myself for free on the internet was very insulting and created much anger and distrust.

Dr. Sharma and his staff are kind, compassionate and dedicated to their work. This is the best vet clinic in town and I am so happy to be able to take my pet to a clinic where I'm guaranteed such professionalism.

My cat has many allergies and so she needs regular Vet visits. The first time I took her there was for her stomach issues and they ended keeping her over night taking blood doing x-rays and more tests, then told me to give her antibiotics for Two weeks and feed her the stupid expensive food after a month her condition worsened. Long story short the Pet Store told me to try grain free food and she has been great since a hair ball maybe once a month not 5-6 times a day. I just called recently because her eye was swollen and there was a film over her eye and with them being open until 8 I thought her it's 645 I will see, sure enough I call and the girl who answered the phone told me the Vet was not in, to which I respond "you're open until 8pm and there is no Vet?" Her response was "if a restaurant closes at 10 you don't walk in at 945 and expect to be served" I have never been so offended in my life. I will never go here again!

I have visited this clinic a few times. They have great hours and are very good at fitting people in on short notice. Unfortunately the last 2 times I visited this clinic seemed to be staffed by students. I barely saw the vet at all. He seemed more preoccupied with the students than with my dog. The students could have used a lesson in behaviour around animals as well. My dog can get nervous in noisy, crowded situations and doesn't like to be approached quickly by strangers. In the end I think the vet spent 2 minutes with me and my dog and then sent me out to the waiting area to wait while he dispensed medication. I didn't even have the chance to ask questions and there was very little explanation as to what was wring with my pet. When it came time to go over how to give the medication, the student behind the counter seemed unsure and I was forced to wait for the vet to finish his next appointment to help me.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Veterinarian was gentle, kind and knows his stuff. I was really impressed with how he handled my beloved buddy. Facility is far too small, but the people actually care about your pet's welfare.
