Where do I start...being told to wait 2 weeks to book an appointment for an 11 year old cat with no appetite, no water intake, no grooming interest, and possibly depressed over a new puppy. High prices. (She had Pyometra, a curable condition that, left untreated,
is fatal.) One insolent, insensitive Receptionist who suggested putting down my healthy, young cat when the bill was much higher than expected. Another cat's ashes not being returned to me as requested in phone calls, voicemail, email and in person.

Have been taking our cats to Ritson Veterinary Clinic for the past 5 years. The vets are very compassionate and thorough. They are open and honest and were very sensitive in dealing with our cat and his trouble with bladder stones. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I agree that their Front staff should greet thir clients with a more enthusiasm but the care the vets will give your pet is unmatched.

Rude staff and extremely high costs on all general procedures. Our experience has lead us to change vets as we found the poor experience we kept getting with Dr. Hoogers was unprofessionsal

This vet sent our dog home with the wrong meds!..than they sent us a sympathy card belonging to another dog that passed!!...our dog got terribly sick and than they charged us $78 to check a problem that they created?...but told us paying $60 for blood was "a waste of time"!! MY DOG IS NOT GOING BACK THERE...EVER!!!!

Wonderful staff who care about your pet and who are willing to answer all your questions. Their facilities are VERY clean and tidy. They sent my family a nice card after my family cat passed away. Very wonderful place to go.

We have been going to the clinic since first adopting our dogs 8 years ago. The care and respect we have been shown has been amazing. I would highly recommend going.

The day our dog passed, it was confirmed he had "Cushing's. For yrs, Hoogers missed all the telltale signs that he had it..EVEN WITH ALL OUR VERBAL DESCRIPTIONS OF WHAT WAS DIFFERENT/GOING ON! The "doctor" chalked it up to "old age," said it was nothing to worry about! He had diagnosed a heart murmur a couple yrs ago& the last time we saw him, he said it was GONE, went AWAY! We were in various times in the last few months. By the time we figured we should try a new vet, it was too late. The new vet noticed his large belly. He ran bloodwork, did X-rays (unlike Hoogers)& said his heart &liver were severely enlarged, lungs filling w/fluid ..my dog died an UGLY death. To boot, Hooger's staff is the WORST bunch of "humans" imagineable. After leaving, there was not even a follow up call! Run people, RUN! Don't let this happen to YOUR family member...because that's what our pets are! When vets stop caring about the animals, it's time to quit.
