My pets (2 bichons and a kitty) were under Dr. Uy's care for years - Dr Uy and his staff were professional and offered the best care - He is current on pet care and surgical procedures and truly administers care for the pet - when i was considering an increase to my Bichon family from 2 to 3 i enquired about a multi pet discount and was declined. Ultimately, i did have to think of my wallet so I left his practice for a clinic that offered this - with the city's new guidelines on multi pet ownership, i will be increasing my pet compliment even more. I wonder has this clinic updated their policies and is multi pet discounts available to all who qualify or only offered to farmers and their livestock, hounds, mousers. I follow Dr Dodd's vaccine schedule and even so, Titers and annual exams and the required space are still a must ! - I wish policies had been in my favor then ... but ultimately, Thank you Dr Uy for your great past care. Who knows what the future holds

We have been with Dr Uy for 13 years now and he has always treated both us and our pets with care and professionalism. He is a very honest and caring man and loves animals. I would highly recommend this Vet to every one.

We had to come to a very hard decision for our 18yr old cat. Being new to the area it is hard to find a vet to deal with in such a sad situation that has never met your pet before. I did feel the doctor had a hard time saying what need to be said...I feel his heart is HUGE and its not an easy decision or process for him either. It's been a sad day all around but I won't hesitate to take my other pets here.

I have been with Dr. Uy and his staff for close to 15 years. Overall I have had many great and positive experiences with this clinic. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Dr. Uy is very friendly and has a passion for helping animals. The whole staff is amazing and in the business for the love and health of the animals. I feel so comfortable knowing I have a trust worthy vet that takes amazing care of my three animals. Any time I call they can fit me in and are always there to answer my questions.

Wow...we have multiple pets and have to say...this Dr. needs to learn some people skills. He was extremely arrogant and barely looked at us. He was indifferent and treated us like we were just a number. It was insulting and we are looking elsewhere for care for our 4 precious animals. Two of our dogs are older now and the thought of going through the "end of life" stages with this unfeeling and unprofessional person makes me sick. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC if you are looking for compassion and sincere care.

We actually switched from another clinic to this clinic when we had an after-hours emergency and saw Mr. Dr. Uy. He was very professional and caring. We have been bringing both of our dogs here for several years now and have not had any negative experiences. I used to work in a clinic in Southern ON that was AHAA accredited (which is on of the highest standards that a clinic can achieve). They are very close to meeting all of those expectations that I am used to. I would recommend them to anyone new as I have had nothing but good experiences since attending Cambrian Animal Hospital. Also, news flash, they are less expensive than most of the clinics in Southern ON!

They are very caring to the animals, my dog never put on the brakes at the door. They don't do unnessisary treatments , are very honest, I love this vet.

I have been using Cambrian Animal Hospital for over 15 years. I have always had positive experiences when dealing with them in all aspects. The staff is great, they joke around, and engage in conversation once they get to know you. They have always been good with my animals, and told the truth. They do what they do for the love of animals. :)

We have been going to Cambrian for 1.5 years now, and after our most recent visit we will be switching vets. Dr. Uy has never been personable with us or our 2 dogs. One of our dogs is terrified of this place and on our last visit she showed uncharacteristic behaviour (aggression and peeing out of fear) to which we were told by Dr. Uy that she is not a normal dog and needs training. I explained to him that she does not act like this around us ever and she is socialized on a regular basis with dogs and people of all ages and types with no issues. He did not seem to want to listen to what we had to say and kept insisting she is abnormal and requires training. I am sorry, but from my experience most dogs are afraid of trips to the vet. Should they not be trying to help accommodate her needs? We pay all this money to be treated like this? Not anymore. I would have gone into more detail about what happened but there is not enough room. Bottom line: I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I do not recommend anyone take their pets here! All they want is your money! Because of them, I almost put my dog to sleep! They prescribed a muscle relaxant for her back and said if it did not work, my options were $5000 for back surgery in Midland, Ontario or put her to sleep. I opted for the medication and found a chiropractor in Sudbury who is licenced to work on small animals. Her name is Sherri Guillette and she is wonderful! My dog went from not being able to walk because her back legs were partially paralized to running around as usual within a week and a half! Two years later when her back went out again, the clinic would not give me the medication. Because I told them I would get it from my pharmacy, they terminated their services with me! Always the almighty buck! And agree with above comment, Kathy Uy is the most rude, condescending health care worker I have ever met! Much more to tell but no more space available. Do yourselves a favor and seek another vet.(one who cares!)

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I was scared and utterly worried for the health and prognosis of my cat and yet when asking questions I was treated like an imbecile and basically told what a stupid question I had asked. After diagnostic testing she was put on medication. Due to her chronic health condition and thus an increase in vet appointments we decided to transfer care to a clinic closer to home with extended working hours. Unfortunately that same day we called to transfer clinics we ended up with an emergency visit after hours due to our cats rapidly deteriorating condition. Very next morning we called Cambrian to inform them that they would be getting results from our emergency visit and update them on what had happened - unsure if her file had been transferred - again scared beyond our wits. We were greeted with attitude & cut off mid sentence to answer the secretary's most IMPORTANT question: are you still transferring care? Then go deal with them not our problem. Absolutely appalled.

Great website! We have been bringing our lab here for several years and we have been pleased. My ONLY complaint with this clinic is one staff member. I agree with the previous review about "Cathy". Not only does she speak over you, she also speaks over the other staff members. That in itself wouldn't be so bad except she tells you incorrect information. Our dog was in for some blood tests late last year. When I called to check on him, Cathy told me his kidneys weren't working. The news was very upsetting to me and I called my husband (who was out of town at the time) and he was upset as well. We thought we were coming to the end of our wonderful time with our wonderful dog. When I went to pick up my dog, I spoke with Dr. Uy who told me that Max was not in kidney failure AT ALL! My husband and I were upset ALL day for no reason. We will continue to go to this clinic because everyone else is wonderful but I will always verify things Cathy tells me with the nurse or Dr. Uy!
