My daughter took her pug for her yearly check up and shots ( before taking her back to Virginia ( I have had the pug for almost a year while my daughter was in the military) and while there asked the vet about her pugs bad breath, the vet looked around in the dogs mouth and said it looked fine . My daughter leaves thinking that she guessed the dog just has bad breath. Well my daughter takes Lucy ( the pug) back to Virginia and to her regular vet ( this was within 2 days of seeing this vet in Sulphur) because she was looking closely in Lucys mouth and noticed her front teeth looked bad. . .To make a long story short, the dog had to have 9 teeth pulled from where the gums had receded and food and stuff was stuck in there and caused tooth rot.
