Initially very happy with this vet hospital. We have since changed vets after our cat was given deworming meds without our knowledge/consent. It just showed up as a charge on the bill (cat did not have worms!!!) Apparently money is more important than a pets wellbeing. High staff turnover which makes us wonder what's going on behind the scenes. More than one occasion where we were given incorrect info (that impacted our cats health). When it was addressed with the front desk tech ... response was scripted 'we will watch out for that next time'.. UNREAL. watch out for added charges on your bill ... would never trust this hospital again .. which is sad .. because years ago they were fantastic ... not anymore.

Strongly advise avoiding this vet and hospital. I had my two kittens and one dog spayed there recently. My kittens were sick for 48 hours post surgery which I have never had happen before with my prior cats when they have been spayed. My dog was not only sick post surgery, her incision opened four days post surgery on the weekend so we had to have emergency surgery for her and have her put on a course of antibiotics as she had also developed an infection. The emergency veterinarian was surprised she hadn’t had a post operative 3 day check up as she was a mature spay and a large breed dog. They also were surprised that she hadn’t been given post surgical antibiotics as a precaution, again, due to age and size. If both of these “routine” protocols had been followed we could have possibly avoided the 1800 emergency bill. The also lied about costs

I will NEVER go back to Walkers. My 15lb dog,was recently attacked by another dog. I brought him to Walkers Line Veterinary Hospital Jaffery Iftikhar Almost immediately said.It is going to be Expensive. It was going to be $750 after taxes.I said just for a couple stiches? He said No.The dog has to be put under to have it cleaned and stitched.I explained,I did not want my dog put under,as I had just recently lost a dog that was put under for teeth cleaning He said "That's the chance you take" I suggested maybe a local and pill to make him drowsy and I would hold my dog.He said no.So I declined. He gave me antibiotics, did nothing for my dog, not even cleaning of the wound. And I got a bill of 120. I took my dog to Burlington EMERGENCY Hospital. The Vet there,Shaved and Cleaned the Wound, Gave 2 Staples to the laceration, WITHOUT having to put him UNDER. Dressed the Wound and gave me Pain killers for his pain. All for 188.98 out the door. NOT $750.00. As Walkers was trying to charge me.

Dr. Jaffery and his assistant Tara have been very kind and caring. They stayed open late after we called in a panic when our kitten was vomiting. They have gone above and beyond on several occasions for us and we have been very grateful. They are attentive to our pet's needs and also you can tell they are compassionate about animals. Highly recommended :)

Dr Jaffery and Staff, especially Christine are very caring , kind, knowledgeable. A few years ago, in an emergency when my cat had a stroke, I called his office after hours and he met us right away at the clinic to assist - he wasn't even my vet at the time. I switched vets and he has cared very well for my other animals; regular and emergency service.

My kitten was spayed and the incision line that was left after was un expectable. The night we brought my kitten home she got very sick and after I had left the clinic many messages they did not return my phone call. The staff are very rude, and they will find any reason to charge you.

Great experience. Not pushy at all, and gave us as much time as we needed to discuss our options while there. Took my small parakeet to them and Dr Jaffery was very knowledgeable as well as caring for my animal. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for great vet care and knowledge :)

Professional, clean, caring, educated and well run clinic. I have 2 cats, and Dr. Jaffrey and his staff have helped us through a surgery and some infections the cats picked up. Dr. Jaffrey is extremely kind and caring towards the animals. He is very well educated and intelligent, and he always answers all of my questions thoroughly and so I can understand it. The Veterinary Technicians are excellent and they are always so kind to me and my cats. I never feel rushed when I am there and always get 100% of their attention. They only recommend what is required and I NEVER feel they are pushing unnecessary medicals or surgery; only what is required. There's nothing worse than looking at the pet you love and knowing they are sick, in pain, and need help. However, when these situations have arisen in my life I instantly take comfort in knowing I can take them to this clinic and they will receive the help, care and attention they need. Thank you.

Walkers Line Veterinary Hospital is very much there for the animals. They are professional, yet extremely personable! I find their prices to be good, and Dr. Jaffery is very honest and educational when it comes to the needs of my pets.

Brought in a stray bunny and she was treated promptly. Facilities are clean and professional looking. Did not feel comfortable hearing that they laid her on her back for a procedure that didn't necessarily need to be done. Additional tests and x rays were pushed on me and I declined.

Our 4 month border collie Aussie had diarrhea for more then two days so we brought her into this clinic. The gave her a shot (to clam her belly) then prescribed two additional drugs one to give orally the other to mix with her food. The bill for the visit and meds was over $250. We were uncomfortable with the about of medication the vet had recommended we give our 4 months old puppy so we decided to not give her anything. Her upset stomach resolved itself on its own. Bottom line - the administration staff is lovely, very friendly however they push medications without any hesitation. $$

We went here based on others reviews. The main complaint is they are very pushy for all those additional tests. They asked us three times if we wanted the heart worm test after we had asked not to ask again. They charge an exam fee even if you are there the week later for additional shots. They are happy to say the shots can wait so they can charge you again but they don't tell you this part if it. Caring staff and Dr but too pushy to ting up the bill more so then other places

Dr. Jaffrey and his team are the most professional, kind, intelligent, and patient team I have ever encountered. I have two cats, and it looked as though one had a cavity. Dr. Jaffrey took the time to explain that it was not a cavity, but that my cats would benefit from a cleaning. He patiently explained my options to me, so I understood everything. Throughout the entire time, he was very gentle with my cats, despite their hissing at being in a vet's office. He truly loves animals, doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures, speaks with you before and after a procedure, and is very reasonably priced. I drive into Burlington just to see him because I have had horrible experiences with other vets, and now I'll never go anywhere else. Also, someone from his staff call the following day to make sure everything is still okay. Thank you Walker's Line Veterinary Hospital!

I had to find a new vet because my previous vet was not able to treat one of my cats (high blood pressure). Based on the excellent ratings on here and other positive feedback I had heard about Walker's Line Vet, I thought I would give them a try. BEST decision I have ever made !!! Very friendly staff, Dr Jaffery takes the time to explain test results and treatment options available. Exam costs are cheaper than my previous vet !!! Overall I am very impressed with Walker's Line Vet Hospital and highly recommend it !! The entire staff obviously loves animals, and I know my furbabies are in good hands when they are there !!!

After having a terrible experience with another vet in Burlington (cough cough Askey), we found that this place was very highly rated. The change from our old vet to this one was like night and day! Dr. Jaffery is a very compassionate and kind man, and you can tell he does this job because he really loves animals. He's taken great care of our senior cat throughout his treatment. The vet assistants are also very friendly.

We left our vet of many years in search of a new facility. Our cat had been misdiagnosed with bone cancer twice in 5 years. We found this website and noticed that the reviews for the WLVH were great, we decided to give it a try! I noticed immediately that this place was different. The staff was extremely helpful and amazingly friendly. The two lovely ladies, both named Christine, were so kind to Lucky and I. We met with the doctor and upon reviewing notes and past xrays, determined that the best course of action was to have Lucky's arm amputated as the bone was so badly broken that it could not be treated. This was an option that our last vet immediately ruled out. The only options given by our last vet was to have him put down. We took Lucky in this morning for his surgery and were phoned a few hours later and told that everything went exactly as planned. Christine let us visit with Lucky for as long as we wanted. The doctor and staff at the WLVH saved his life. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Jaffery and his team are excellent! They are very caring, patient and understanding. Our dog Jack has had numerous stomach issues and the Doctor and his team have not only been compassionate and thorough, they have also Ben fair and reasonable with their pricing. Dr. Jaffery lives close to his clinic and always seems to be working! He is even able to take Sunday booking when needed and he and his staff always call to follow-up on how your pet is doing after treatment. I wouldn't even consider another vet!

After leaving my previous vet, I came to this office and was treated professionally by all staff members and the veterinarian. I had my little dog spayed here and she had recovered with no issues. It was also great knowing I could reach the vet at anytime, even in the middle of the night. Prices compared to my previous vet are significantly lower. I had saved $200.00 for her spay surgery. An examination is $20.00 less! Why would I not change vets.
