The best thing that can be said about A&B is the fees are reasonable ~ but it ends there. After a few visits, I would NEVER take my pets there again, even in an emergency! Most Californians would think Dr. Gerald Citek's personality deficit is not just typical East Coast, but definitely NOT even CAPABLE of showing their beloved pets the compassion they need when they're sick and scared. The clinic is dirty and the vet provides little, if any, care. I took in a rescued kitten whose tail fell off. He gave it an antibiotic shot and said (this is a QUOTE) "Take it home, clean the wound, and it should be fine." That's what I took the cat to HIM for! So I took it to another vet who cleaned and debrided the wound. Years ago Dr.C asked me to keep a stray cat I rescued that was hit by a car because the surgery he did on it was unique. At the kitten's visit I was feared for that cat and asked. The tech said the cat was there, but Dr.C said "I have no idea what they've got back there." YE GADS!
