Used to enjoy this clinic but lately they seem more interested in making money than caring for our pets. Used to trust their evaluations but do not do so anymore as their recommendations seem motivated to drive the cost up rather than taking care of a pet. It is too bad but we will be going elsewhere. Clients see through marketing and just want to trust their vet.

WAY too expensive. The most expensive vet for vaccines, spay etc., in Aridrie. Charged me $21.80 for one worm pill for my puppy. Exact same pill was $5.75 and the Calgary Wellness Spay & Neuter clinic. Won't be coming back anytime soon. Shop around!

Went here to get a check up for my pooch after I adopted him from the Calgary humane society and the vet Dr. Mount wasn’t very thorough (didn’t check his eyes, overall body condition, didn’t even take his temperature) and kept disregarding my every concern I had about my SENIOR dog and his many many lumps. Will definitely not be going back here again. I guess if your dog is young and in peak condition you’ll have no problems here but if you’re in actual need of medical advice and assistance this isn’t the place to go.
Edit: This place is extremely unprofessional especially the owner
Vicky Fitzpatrick! I came to this place on the 21st of November with my 8 year old senior dog who I adopted from the humane society for his free check up and got assigned Dr. Mount who did a really shotty job of a physical exam. He forgot to check my dogs eyes, temperature, and overall body condition when that's basically 75% of the exam! When I talked to the owner she even agreed that the exam term is

Every single time I go here (with or without an appointment) I and both my doggos are greeted in a super friendly and professional front desk staff.
One of my pups is usually wary of new people but she loves loves loves the staff here.
All of the doctors try and make the pups as at ease as they can which to me is one of the most important things I love about this practice aside from the phenomenal treatment my dogs get.
The staff here clearly love animals and it shows.
The prices are quite reasonable and they do not push treatments. They have always walked me through in layman's terms about what's happening without ever making me feel stupid.

this veterinary clinic in my humble opinion is the best of the rest when you go there with your animals you are looked at as a person not a $ sign, you are greeted by smiles and sometimes owners come in and are very upset because of the situation ,but staff there are always ,always comforting and letting you know everything is being done that needs to be done I have been in that position a few times and they have always put my mind at ease , the vets are tremendous willing to go to great length to help you and your fur baby or feathered friends , my little guy has had numerous surgeries there he has always been well looked after , and I don't think their prices are unreasonable , they also have a seniors discount the facility is always spotless and they all care , oh yes and coffee is always on so if you need a vet ,might I suggest you give them a call you won't regret it Dr kim is my little guys primary but has also seen Dr Laura and Dr jeremy they are all amazing

The facility and front counter staff were good but the unnecessary x-ray, medication and recommendation for surgery was unfounded and untrue. I rely on professionals to be professional but the advice I received was inaccurate and reflects poorly on the Vet who gave it. I sought a second opinion and was told that any experienced vet would be able to diagnose my dog's injury by feeling her leg (not x-raying), medication was not necessary (as it is only aspirin) and with a little education from the vet, I can easily help my dog when her leg slips a little. It is cruel to put an animal through surgery unless absolutely necessary and to have received this recommendation from Airdrie Animal Health Centre is disheartening and lacks integrity.

I have been this office a few times with my dog and have paid lots of money to them. I had appt's so no problem, however when I do have a serious problem with her, and tried to get her in on Sat afternoon, they told me to go to Calgary emergency if I felt she needed it, however they were too busy to see her themselves. Seriously, not professional at all!! But wait, I could bring her in Monday morning if I wanted??? Duh...............I will be looking for a new Vet!!

My dog had to have his toe amputated, the infection reached into my dogs bone from the broken nail being left on and rotting causing a huge infection, instead of being removed as we requested. I saw three different Animal Hospitals for different oppinions, one of them being my family vet, they all confirmed the nail should have been removed as we requested from the beginning.
