I am writing this review in hopes that no one will ever have to endure the pain and sadness our friends have felt of not only losing a pet but a family member.
Back in February of 2011, our friends took their soon-to-be 4 year old Bernese Mountain dog named Kujo in for a teeth cleaning. What they didn't know was that their lives were going to change forever after the malpractice, lack of care, awareness and accountability of Dr. Bruce Bauersfeld and Dover Shores Pet Care Center. During the procedure, Kujo's IV came out and she had to be sedated to stabilize. They released her with no post-op instructions, had a very blase attitude and sent Kujo home to fall sick with aspiration pneumonia. They would find out after, in Kujo's autopsy results reviewed by a pathologist and 2 expert veterinary doctors, that she had a traumatized and collapsed trachea due to malpractice during the procedure..
