8/24/11   1     1     1     1   My beloved cat, Abby, was euthanized 3 weeks ago. No one at Northbrook called to let me know I could pick up her ashes. Finally, I went into the clinic because I knew her ashes must have arrived. Unbeknown to me, Dr. Warren had been keeping her ashes locked up in his office because there was a billing error and I owed the clinic some money for her euthanasia. I was never billed for this and was unaware that I owed the clinic money. I was more than willing to pay the balance. But when I requested Abby's ashes, Dr. Warren taunted me by showing me her ashes but not handing them to me until I handed over my check. Instead of the kindness and compassion I needed, he was unbelievably cruel, I was devastated and appalled that any vet would treat a client in this manner. To make matters worse, Abby was a clinic cat at Northbrook for 4 years before I adopted her. The staff knew her. If Dr. Warren would treat me this way, how will he treat other clients? RID: 27139
