I love this clinic. Dr. Dayed and his staff are the best that I have experienced in the City in terms of clinical skills, experience, incredible care and customer service and the most affordable clinic as well. I can't recommend Dr. Dayed highly enough, he is the best!!

Dr Dayed and staff at Dundas Dovercourt Veterinary Hospital are always there when I need them. I have called and get same day treatment, they always find a place for me in their day. Dr Dayed over extends himself for the needs of my pets. He has a genuine concern for all my pets and my rescues pets as well! I am certain he is like this for every animal that comes through the clinics door. He takes the time to explain the medical care and needs of my pets.My pets have always been well taken care of at Dr Dayed clinic. I highly recommend his veterinary skills to everyone.

I took my dog Matilda into the Dundas Dovercourt Vet hospital two weeks ago for her annual checkup after switching from another vet clinic. We were very impressed with the knowledgeable and conscientious staff at the clinic. They took care of all our needs and were especially helpful in answering our concerns. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an alternative to their veterinarians. As well their receptionist is a sweetheart :)

I must say... WOW!! I have never spent my time to write a reviews however the service I had from them couldn't be missed. I have taken my cat to this vet every year to get his annual vaccines and annual check up. The doctor is really caring, he demands for animal's update for his conditions even on his off days. out of cautious, I have nagged Dr. Dayed TONES of questions and he always reply in great amount of details and patience, and true honesty.
The receptions were also EXTREMELY polite and helpful She is very knowledgeable and professional. I have recommended many of my friend to the same location, and them too had wonderful experiences.

Never going back and advise others to do the same especially for raw or home cooked feeders. I brought my dog here because she became ill over the course of a week. Not eating or drinking, lethargic. She was 2.5 yrs and healthy otherwise with the exception of some food sensitivities so we feed her balanced raw and home cooked food. Dr Dayed outright refused to give any sort of treatment until we took her off raw food for 24 hours.I explained she wasn't eating, that she had been off leash a lot in the days leading up to her falling ill and that she had been on this diet for well over a year. I felt under attack, that he was implying that I had made her sick and that I was abusive for feeding my dog raw food.I was shocked that a vet in downtown Toronto could be so uninformed about alternative diets for dogs. I immediately took my dog to another vet where she was given fluids and stayed over night. We were never able to determine the cause but she's 4.5 now still on raw and going strong!

Staff is very polite, Dr Dayed did a great job with my dogs dental for a reasonable price, I know my pets always come first at this clinic.

I took my puppy here when she went into heat, and will definitely not be returning. Dr Dayed was very condescending towards me, and kept cutting me off. He demanded to know how old I was before agreeing to discuss my dog's condition, as if he thought it was uncouth to talk about such things with a young lady (i'm in my mid-20's, obviously not a child). I found this extremely inappropriate, and was left feeling very uneasy by the experience. On top of that, he was very rough with my puppy. He tried to pressure me into having her spayed immediately with his clinic, when I already had an appointment with my usual vet the following month: it was pushed back because I was told that it would be unsafe to spay Poppy when she was in heat - an opinion I have since researched and seems to be prevalent in the veterinary community. I am appalled that Dr. Dayed would advise me to do something which could jeopardize to my pet's health, just to get me to pay him more money. I will not be returning.

You have given me impeccable advice and your communication about surgical procedures as well as post operative care gives me complete confidence in your approach. The staff and the vet are very down to earth.

Excellent experience with Dundas Dovercourt Vet Clinic Staff and Vet. Dr Dayed is very compassionate and caring. I am very impressed with the neuter surgery done on my dog. Very reasonable prices and quality of work is excellent. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

The front desk staff is great. But, the doctor really doesn't seem to listen very well and, twice, gave me opposing advice for one problem - once within a span of 2 minutes. I feel I cannot trust his information or with the health of my pet. I found his attention scattered, his advice confusing and am very disappointed. Have changed vets.

I normally take my animals to their regular vet, however I had an emergency with one of them so I needed to find the closest vet which was Dundas and dovercourt. The vet was very accommodating to my pets needs and quick however I did not appreciate some comments and ways Dr. Dayde would speak to me. I feel he was selling me his particular opinions instead of giving me straight and honest answers. Other then that problem everything else was fine, good pricing compared to other vets and they get your pet in quick. I'm not sure if I will keep returning but it is possible depending on my cats needs.

The Vet and staff at this clinic are excellent. The doctor was very compassionate and honest about what my cat needed (another clinic tried to perform unnecessary surgery on her). I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I am updating a poor rating I gave to Dr Dayed below about having to euthanize our dog Lucky in September. Dr Dayed called me when he saw this review and was very upset as he had never received the email I had sent him. He has since corrected the email issue and we talked for a long time about what had happened with our dog. He explained why things had gone the way they had and I want say that I believe Dr Dayed to be a very compassionate and responsible Vet. We both realized that the whole situation with our dog was a series of badly timed events one after another.I have always found Dr Dayed to be a compassionate and responsible vet in our prior dealings.I respected his sincerity and accountability with me and I have arranged to bring our newly adopted dog to his clinic for care as I never had an issue prior. We have both learned from this experience.I believe that his willingness to address this and take responsibility speaks very well of him and will only improve his practice.

Sadly we had to euthanize our rescue dog after 6 years of escalating aggression and house urination as he was becoming quite dangerous and nothing we tried worked. I spoke to Dr Dayed and tearfully made an appointment that evening. My husband and son took him in and the appointment was delayed for about an hour. They then left my husband and son in the back room with a muzzle on our dog for 15 mins while he spoke to a woman off the street about revolution treatments. Our dog was left scared with a muzzle on that he hates. Dr Dayed needed 3 shots to sedate him while my husband and son kept him calm and he was still awake when the heart stopping drug was administered. They were quite upset by the whole ordeal and I wrote an email to Dr Dayed about it the next day. We loved that dog even though we could not live with him any longer. Dr Dayed never even bothered to respond to us. Our decision was traumatic, but I was shocked by the treatment and lack of compassion we got from Dr Dayed.

You will never find a more compassionate and knowledgible Doctor than Dr. Dayed. It is evident that he is a true animal lover. The clinic itself is modest, but what counts is the staff! I highly recommend this vet clinic!

I had an excellent experience with the vet and the staff at this clinic. They were kind, knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, down to earth, and trustworthy. I had no fear whatsoever that my cat was going to be overtreated, as I've had at other clinics. They do what's necessary and not 100 costly things more, which is the kind of health care I'd want for myself or anyone/creature I care about. It's so nice to have a community vet that seems this down to earth. The facilities aren't the fanciest in the world, but I think that's good.

Dr. Dayed is very compassionate and possesses a wealth of knowledge. This clinic is reasonably priced but I would go there regardless because my pets are treated in the highest regard. I went to many other clinics prior that are either not up to my standard or just don't care but charge you top dollar for services that come with novelities (bravery certificates after surgery). If you are looking for a good vet, the answer is simple-Dr. Dayed and his staff!

The staff and the vet at this clinic are very conscientious and accomodating. They provide excellent and compassionate service at a reasonable price. The vet is trained in jevenile spay and neuter technics as well as the regular surgery techniques.
