Forgot to give me a written script for my dog's heartworm medication, even though they said they would. I was visiting the area and took my dog in. I live three hours away. When I told them about the mistake, they said they couldn't email the prescription or mail it. They did say they had an online pharmacy I could use, but didn't say it was the only option. I told them I often use other online pharmacies. Not a word was saying this wasn't an option. So when I got back home, 3 hours away, and tried to order my dog's heartworm through Chewy, they refused. Said I had to come pick up the script (3 hours!) or fill through their pharmacy. They gave no good reason for it. They said Chewy was out of state. So what? Many vets allow fills through Chewy. They said some online pharmacies use fake meds. Okay, but Chewy doesn't, and its a leader in the business. This is a ploy, I think, to make people order their more expensive products. NOT okay. My dog's health is at risk.
