Click to report rating    2/13/14   3     3     3     1   I used to have the Wellness Plan for both my dogs. The vet told me that one of my dogs had a liver condition. After spending a great amount of money on treatments and medicine I went to another vet who, after an ultrasound, told me that my dog did not have any condition at all. Everytime I went there I was told something needed to be done, from skin tests to X-Rays. And all of that costed plenty of money, what they were happy to tell me I was paying much less because I had the medical plan from them. The staff is nice but you're paying a lot of money for that. They will make you believe you need to run a lot of tests on your perfectly healthy dog. Just save your money and go see a regular vet. RID: 49813
9/2/11   1     3     1     2   I am very dissatisfied with this vet practice. Today I took my dog for a health evaluation at the start of her 'wellness plan'. On the way to the vet she damaged her due claw jumping into the car. When we got there we were seen pretty quickly by a receptionist and nurse, who were both nice although I do object to their hard sell tactics for their own medications! The vet, when he came in, was curt and rude and also acted like I did not care for my pet by HIS hard sell methods of their heart worm medication. He then looked at my dogs injured due claw and said she needed surgery, the bill for which was to be $498!! I did not have that kind of money so I could not do anything. I came home and called my usual vet to make an appointment because it seemed that they would not be more expensive than this 'discount' vet. To cut a long story short, she did not need any treatment as the nail will fall of on its own, or can be clipped off for free by the vet just like a regular nail clipping! RID: 27344
