Very customer & pet friendly - when my dog had to have emergency surgery on Christmas Eve the vet took her to her home for the night as she did not want her to wake up all alone

I can't say enough about the dedicated caring staff at the Martinsville Vet Hospital. My kitten has had a chronic lung illness from birth and is not expected to be with us long term. Dr Lange has taken the time to help put my mind at ease, has been honest yet optimistic about his prognosis. She has educated me on expectations and how best to care for my unique situation. She has helped me learn about administering complicated medications, choosing an appropriate diet, grooming, socializing, and even how to stop unwanted behaviours (urination in laundry baskets!). When she examines him she is gentle and kind and is able to soothe his nervous nature. She clearly has a gift with kitties. She has gone above and beyond expectations and truly has my pet's best interest at heart.

We completely recommend Martensville Vet hospital. Dr Lange was wonderful with our cat and spent lots of time explaining everything so we could understand what was going on. Our fur baby is doing much better now thanks to the awesome care she got! The staff were also great and very friendly. We'll be back to martensville vet hospital again with our other pets.

We had many appointments with Dr. Katina Stewart. She always made time for us and treated our Bogart with so much kindness, and showed so much compassion for us. He had to have a few surgeries, and each time there was much care taken to do the very best possible for our cat.I would highly recommend Martensville Veterinary Hospital to friends with pets. We had been to other clinics in the past for Bogart and other pets, but never received the excellent service we received from Katina and her staff. From the care to the very sympathetic letter we received when it came time that we had to let our Bogart go we couldn't have asked for more.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Martensville Vet Hospital, and specifically with Dr. Katina Stewart! A previous vet was recommending that I euthanize my Stella, and I went to Dr. Stewart for a second opinion....thank goodness. All-in-all I have only good things to say about the care that Stella received (and the heaps of information and support that I received) from Martensville Vet. Not only was Stella not dying...but what she was actually suffering from was totally treatable (Cushings Disease) ....and she went on to live for several more (happy and healthy) years...including travelling abroad, with me....just where she should be. AND it's worth noting that Martensville Vet is very fairly priced...and their equipment/testing/facilities are excellent. There's no getting around that vet visits can be an unexpected and difficult expense...but in my experience this hospital goes out of their way to try to ease that. The whole experience made my heart burst, in the good way.

Changed clinics to warman as this martensville clinic seems to care a lot about their high priced check ups and were always trying to upsell us.the straw that broke the camels back was when our dog had an emergency and needed to see a vet right away, I called and was told that they could fit her in for an extra large $$$ fee on top on the regular check she would need .i called Warman clinic and they said yes bring her right in and they didn't charge anything extra. Yay for Warman vets and they are awesome and supportive .

I had been going to this clinic for 13 years and will never step foot in it again. Misdiagnosis, taking my pets body without asking first, expensive and lack proper equipment but won't refer elsewhere when it's needed. Went downhill. Very dishonest and extremely expensive

Don't use them in an emergency. They will charge you over $200 just to show up before they even do anything to your pet.

The vets themselves are awesome and super friendly. The rest of the staff, besides a couple of vet techs (who are very nice as well), have seemed very condescending whenever I have gone into the clinic and talked to them. Although pretty expensive, they try to get to the bottom of what is wrong with your pet by ruling what is not wrong out. Overall, happy with the care that my pets receive there.

we have spent alot of money at martensville vet and have used them for years, the staff seems ok but they are starting to charge way to much money for everything even follow ups after surgery, we had a couple incidents where our animals got sick or had issues after surgery and they charged us for the follow ups saying it was un-related, we also had a $3000 knee surgery done on our pomeranian and they antibiotics they gave us afterwards had side affects that they did not not inform us about and when he had large amounts of blood in his stool we had to take him in for an emergency call which then costed another 1000 at the UofS, all in all the surgery made him worse he stopped using his strong leg and only walks on 3 legs now, we had him in several times afterwards paying high priced bills every time for them to just say we don't know what it is, now his leg is arthridic and has to be amputated, this vet is ALL about the money and dont seem to care about the people that love there animal

After many years of going here we have had to switch. We originally (almost 15 years ago) went here because of their reasonable prices. Now their prices are outrageous. I was quoted $400 more for a surgery than what I was quoted at another clinic with just as good of care. Very unfortunate.

I went to the Martensville clinic on the recommendation of one of my friends. I signed my golden retriever up for one of the packages they sell so that she could have her teeth cleaned. Since then, she's acted like a puppy again! Also, her blood-work showed that we need to monitor her liver function - and they have shown me how to support her liver function through diet and supplementation, rather than drugs. Can't say enough about the vets and the support staff at this clinic.

We took our Dog in after he swallowed a rock and had to have surgery to remove. The staff besides the doctor were all very friendly! Estimate was over $2000.00, when I explained that it was out of our price range estimate was not lowered, which I thought meant verything on the list was necessary. Not giving up and not wanting to put our dog down, I called around finding vets that would do the exact same procedure for 450.00. If I wouldn't have called around we would have put our 1yr old puppy down, Dr. Ward response was "I guess you get what you pay for" when we picked him up. I can see he is in it for the money! Not for the concern for the animals or the family dealing with the decission. We will never return to Martensville vet, nor recommend that anyone else goes there!

Kristen Roberts is the worst vet there is, she will trick you into spending hundreds of dollars, beware of her. If your dog has kennel cough she will want to operate on it, do blood work, etc.... when all he needs is some medication, she will give him bad madication so that you will have to come back in and trick you into some other meds so that you have to pay the consultation fee every time you go there.

Although this clinic is in Martensville, not Saskatoon, it is only an 8 minute Drive from Costco, so even though I live in Saskatoon, I take my pets there. The techs and vets there are really nice and they always do an estimate before doing any procedures and take the time to explain why they are offering the services. Our family took our dog to their free puppy club and all learned a lot, and now that he is grown up our dog still loves going to the clinic!
