Total misrepresentation. Unable to get test results or records. Dog given holistic treatment without certification. Incorrect dosage give.

I have been a patient of Dr. Newkirk for 8 years. I brought my dog for treatment Saturday traveling 2 1/2 hours. Dr. Helmi was there telling me Dr. Newkirk has retired which is not true. I should have been notified of the change and have the right to decide who treats my dogs. Dr. Helmi adjusted her supplements, did blood work and I paid a large fee for someone who does not know my dog. I was told that none of Dr. Newkirk's staff wanteed to stay there. Dr. Helmi told me that he is a good er vet. If I travel 2 1/2 hours to see him with a critically ill dog, she would be dead before we would get there. I do not arreciate dishonesty or being manipulated. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this practice. I will use the vet of my choice.

The new owner, Dr. Helmi, has acted in a most unprofessional manner. He has treatened people and the former owner with legal actions if former clients dare to see Dr. Newkirk at his other location. His office lied to my friend who drove hours to see Dr. Newkirk who no longer was there and then they lied and said that he retired and refused to give forwarding information. My friend only wanted Dr Newkirk. She didn't like Dr. Helmi at all. I find his behavior unprofessional and unethical. I would never use this vet hospital again. I was personally treated in a digusting manner by Dr. Helmi and I am sickend by the attitude of his office. He is so desperate that he won't allow Dr Newkird to see his old patients under threat of a law suit. Who is this bozo vet anyway? I intend to file a complaint about him.
