Their prices are a little high but that is almost to be expected in a small town. The vets have always been fairly helpful as have the vet techs and receptionist. The only complaint I have is also in regards to the push to buy their food (and claiming all dogs are overweight). They told me that 2 of my 3 dogs are overweight. 1 of them I agree is a little heavy but they wanted him to lose 20lbs, putting him down to below his weight when I adopted him (and they didn't even touch him, just looked at him and said he was fat). The other one has been to another facility and they said that she was fine but this vet said that she was between 5 and 10 lbs overweight, again just by looking at her, not touching her (both dogs are double coated - adds a lot of volume to their bodies). Overall I'd rate them as good, not excellent as I've lived other places and seen other vets that are a lot more enthusiastic and caring in their jobs.

Prices are quite high. Many others in the area are notably less costly. I only go here because anywhere else is at least an hour drive. Facilities are pretty good for a small town vet, but more complex tests have to be sent out, taking a lot of time and expense. Staff are really hit and miss. Some are terrific and caring -- even going above and beyond. Others seem like you're wasting their time with petty house pets. One told me -- without even examining my kitten -- that it wasn't even worth saving and I should just euthanize it. Took her elsewhere, and they gave antibiotics and hi-cal food and now she's healthy as could be. If he'd had his way she'd be dead.

I have not even been here yet but not impressed. My dog has an ear infection and instead of getting in a Saturday they are gonna make my dog suffer for 5 days till I can get an appt. I am from ns. Just moved here if this happened there I would of seen a vet already .maybe it is because I am not from here why I have to wait. But I find this ridiculous

All the staff are friendly and helpful. The veterinaries always give options and probable outcomes of each choice. They also tell you if there is little hope of a positive outcome rather than running up a big bill for nothing.

Excellent staff, some of which have gone above and beyond for my pets. They gave me discounted rates for return visits in a short period of time. Only down side is that some tests have to be sent to the city for testing which takes longer and may cost more. I have always gotten in for an appointment right away for an emergency, or later the same day for appointments.

Most of the staff are wonderful. I've alway been pleased with their kindness and compassion to myself and associated animals.
