DO not take your pet here, they misdiagnosed, they took x-rays and manipulated Bo's legs causing him pain, I could here the cries. Then Dr Lauren Kuzimski Said he had a cruciate tear. They would not do pain or anti-inflammatory meds without a 400.00 blood test, and sent him home. As the night progressed, he became paralyzed. We took him to another hospital who told us he had damage to his spine and any vet should have noted it...Bo was in bad pain and the only option was a 5 hour drive to the University to try an experimental surgery, which both the wife and I knew would be too painful a ride, and in humane. I Would not wish a a Dr Lauren Kuzimski on anyone who wanted a real diagnoses and not snap judgment as she did. They have yet to reply to my complaint.....21 Days and counting. The pain She caused our dog and us should make her nights sleepless

DeLand Animal Hospital is beating me up financially by suing me for Libel/Slander for my review detailing what happened to Rembrandt, my standard poodle, on March 31, 2018. After spending over $20,000 on legal fees defending myself, my attorney, Matthew J. Pearce, is taking the fight back to them by filing a counterclaim to seek punitive damages against them. Our counterclaim also incorporates Negligence (Veterinary Malpractice) and Gross Negligence. The lawsuit information can be found on the Volusia County Circuit Court website under case number 2018 10724 CIDL. The veterinarians' statements are included in the counterclaim.

If you have an actually emergency, absolutely do not go here. Not only will you wait a very long time, but the care is sub par and inaccurate. The vet tech was awesome, but the vet, DR. Fayth Vannatti was awful. She conducted a sub par exam on the animals brought to her, barley put her hands on puppies that were in true need of attention. She refused to treat the sick puppies aggressively, and had a 'wait and see' agenda. Long story short, we left with what little care she provided them, paid hundreds of dollars for cheap medication (half of which is available without prescription) and later that day had to seek medical advice from a real emergency vet when (suprise suprise) the pups were doing worse and had to be treated more aggressively. On top of poor care, she was also very rude. If you want your animal to live, go to a facility that has Veterinarians trained in actual Emergency Medicine, just because they are 24/7 does not mean they know how to deal with emergencies.

Most compassionate veterinarians and staff I ever met! Dr. Ulbrich and Dr MacPhail are very caring. This clinic goes out of their way to meet the client's and animal's needs
