Last month I went in and had the worst experience I've ever had at a vet office. The dr. was appalling she wanted to do surgery on my animal immediately for urinary stones in my dogs bladder. She recommended doing X-rays and was not able to see any stones but told me that just because she doesn't see them on the monitor doesn't mean they are not there. So she basically wanted to put my dog under the knife on suspicion. I spoke to her Her tech at great length in which she told me that this is not the first time this has happened, and this vet has quite the reputation for surgeries that are unnecessary. When the tech when behind the door I heard the young lady being screamed at for taking so long talking to me. I had questions and the young lady was happy to answer them. I have two daughters her age and would have filed charges if her dr/boss spoke to her in that demeaning manor. She (the dr) referred to her technicians as stupid because she was having trouble holding my 85 pound dog.
