Research before scheduling surgery. They are not very informative of risks only benefits. They seem to spay as if an assembly line. This is NOT simple or routine. Anesthesia is a big deal. Apparently it is common practice for multiple employees to medicate the same animal.You can request an anesthesiologist and probably should. ALWAYS get records at EACH visit as they can be changed after death of an animal. If your pet dies for no reason INSIST they draw blood immediately for toxicology and have it done. My ignorance to these things and trusting this vet to inform me of things cost my beautiful 8 1/2 old puppy her life. Finding out the reason has been very difficult but I believe I'm about to get answers. Not from this vet of course. I have had to send liver samples out of state because they declined to have toxicology done. This is costly. A necropsy showed she was healthy..no reason for death. I will never be back here and plan to deter others.

I have been a client here for 15 years. Dr. Fox is by far the best doctor for my pets. I can trust her with my pets when I leave them there.
