We usually request to see Dr Martin. I truly have to say he is a gift to pets and their owners. We have had the sad experience of having to put some of our beloved pets down, and his compassion is amazing, even after all these years that we have been seeing him. During the lives of our pets, he has been so competent, as well as having common sense, that I trust his judgement and diagnosis completely.

Last week I took my dog in to the Barrie Veterinarian Clinic for her annual checkup. She had also recently hurt her ankle and had been on and off limping a bit. Dr. Lawrence said it wasn't necessary to have medication for her, but I asked for it as I didn't like my dog being uncomfortable. Occurred to me that my dog has to go to the camp she stays at this weekend as I have to go away for work. I called to ask for a few more pills in case she is uncomfortable while away and came home to a message from Dr. Lawrence - LAUGHING - and sarcastically saying "I don't know why you would even consider going away and leaving her but I guess that isn't really my decision, is it?" Yes, unfortunately, I can't quit my job to stay with my very mildly injured dog. Just what ever working single mom needs! More judgment and guilt. Perhaps a HUMAN should consider that maybe it isn't their business to judge circumstances for which they are not involved. Shame on you, Dr. Lawrence!
