DISORGANIZED & POOR CARE
Brought my dog last week Dr.Rashidi sedated & inserted a catheter on my poor dog just to get a urine sample. We're expecting they would do it the natural way. Recept.said we were going to receive results via email & vet is going to call us next day as he needed more time to review them. Gave us expired antibiotics!! 4 days later, have not received the results nor the call that was promised/

Nothing but the best here. Staff were very speedy in getting Munchkin's history to the Insurance Company I deal with. And because of this I was able to recuperate the almost $2700 that I paid out for emergency surgery needed for the rat poison he had ingested. Scary moments for me when I thought I might lose my best friend. Highly recommended for any kind of care needed for your buddy and best friend.

I have a rather difficult Bengal cat that required a physical examination and, ultimately, dental surgery. A number of other veterinarians in Vancouver have refused to deal with him because of his nasty temper. But Dr. Rashidi and his staff accepted him as a patient, and then proceeded to do a fabulous job in carrying out the dental surgery and in caring for him during his initial examination, as well as pre- and post-surgery.
The entire staff was absolutely professional and extremely kind toward him. I really can't say enough about them.
Dr. Rashidi is very bright, kind, personable, helpful and did a great job of explaining what was going on at every stage of our interactions. The surgery went very well and Dr. Rashidi did an exceptional job of extracting and cleaning his teeth.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Rashidi, his staff and Market Hill Animal Hospital to care for the shortest and furriest members of your family.

Avoid this veterinary clinic at all costs. I have never dealt with the veterian specifically, but the receptionists are enough to make you run in the other direction (and from other reviews, the vet himself doesn't sound very experienced either!). The staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I bought a puppy from a breeder that used to take her puppies to this vet before I purchased him, and once he was got sick the next day, I contacted them to access all of his records from previous visits to see if this was a known issue. The staff were super shady and I was catching them in numerous lies, as they were trying to refuse me any information, and was working with the breeder to cover her tracks and lies. One of the employees slipped up and told me that they didn't do any of the vaccinations to the puppy, and was quickly cut off by another co-worker who told me that "he doesn't know what he is talking about, he only works here one day a week". Do not trust your pet with these people.

I really like this vet.
He is knowledgable, takes the time to answer any questions I have, and takes good care of my cats.
I appreciate the fact that, when appropriate, he will give me more than one option to consider, from the most expensive and excellent, to a more reasonably priced and acceptable... allowing me the opportunity to make some choices.
It is a small family-operated clinic, with a friendly atmosphere.
We are lucky to have Dr. Reza Rashidi I our neighbourhood.

We have a boxer, and have had him since he was 12 weeks old. We were unaware that he would develop so many health issues, but Dr. Rashidi has always been there to help, and is always very patient when we ask questions. He is very knowledgeable, and we trust him wholeheartedly with our dog. We have never gone to another vet, and Dr. Rashidi has successfully treated 99% of all ailments. The staff here are all great, with the exception of one new girl--but she is new and still learning who we are. The facility itself is always very clean, and decently organized. The punctuality could use a bit more thought and action, but it's not at all terrible. It IS an animal HOSPITAL--emergencies happen, and they take priority just like in human hospitals. The value for the money is very good. Go a couple more blocks down, and they charge substantially more. A He even came to help on a Sunday when they are closed (also his daughters BDay) to help us with an emergency. He is very dedicated.

The staff and vet are nice, but they are absent minded and overall the clinic is disorganized. I adopted my kitten from there, and the spaying was included in the adoption fee, but I still ended up paying $121 for meds after the spay! Also, when I took my kitten in to get spayed, they said they would call in the afternoon after my kitten was done in surgery, which would be just after noon they said, to let me know if it went ok. I never received a call, so I called around 4pm to see if everything was fine. After I picked my kitten up from being spayed, they said they would call the next day to follow up if my kitten was doing ok...but guess what...no call from them. The medication I was given to give to my kitten wasn't prepared properly, (was supposed to be a liquid, but came as a powder - they forgot to mix it for me). The clinic overall is friendly, but due to their lack of organization, I have to rate this clinic lower. And I don't plan on using the clinic/vet again.

I would absolutely suggest Market Hill Animal Hospital.My cat was spayed there last week.It was a very pleasant experience unlike the previous experience I had at another clinic for our other cat.Staff was very knowledgeable,provided all the details I needed to know about to procedure and the treatmetn.Dr.Reza patiently answered all my detailed questions,and I believe he's really expert in this field.My cat recovered very well and fast.I really appreciate their service .

I took my cat for a problem we were all suffering from for years.The staff were very professional,caring and friendly.Dr's diagnosis finally helped my cat's skin issue get better after several treatments at different vets. Dr.Rashidi took his time,explained what could have caused the problem ,and educated us very patiently.I'd absolutely recommend him ,as did my friend to me.He's very expert and caring .

Took my moms cat was euthanasia.Dr Rashidi could not find vein for about 20-25 mts.His hands were trembling.My cat kept on screaming all the time.My mom and me could not sleep whole night after this nightmare.This vet needs more practical training .Not recommended at all.

I took my puppy for shots .The vet dr.r was not able to answer all questions about my dogs nutrition and behaviour.I don't recommend this vet at all.

My dog hates vets. She usually will squirm and bite anyone attempting to get near her. She also remembers what happens at the vet... This is the only vet that my dog actually likes going to. Whenever we pass by the office on our walks, she wants to go in to visit. The staff is great and this vet really loves his work. It is obvious that he loves animals. Prices are fair and quality of care is excellent. The hours are also great. I trust his judgement and would recommend him to anybody who has a pet.

Dr. Rashidi is not at all confident about what he is doing. Misdiagnosed my cats condition. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Dr. R is a fantastic veterinarian. He takes his time to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. He does a full exam and asks for the history of the animals he is seeing, unlike other vets that I have seen who listen to the heart and poke around some. When you first meet Dr. R, you can tell he really does care about his work and the animals. He doesn't do things that aren't needed and his prices are VERY reasonable. I would suggest Mr. R to all my family and friends.
