Was turned away with a very sick pet! The clinic kept promising an appointment and made me wait with my sick pet for over a week! If I wouldn’t have taken my pet to the emerg vet in Nanaimo he would have died waiting. Terrible money hungry vet! Terrible handling of animals! Terrible practice abd should close!!

Visited this vet clinic while travelling across the country out of necessity and it was a horrible mistake. The vet was judgemental and rude, as was front desk reception. Receptionist was extremely condescending.. and made several backhanded comments about my age/situation (i am a young forester who spends most of my time camping and working outdoors) i make good money and my dog definitely doesnt complain about spending every day working in the woods with her human.receptionist and vet assumed i was some irresponsible 20 something? Made me believe there was much more wrong with my pup so i would spend more $ (i do not care about cost when it comes to my pup but they didnt need to make me feel like a bad person). After returning to my family vet in NS and telling him what happened he said most of what they did was unnecessary.so basically i was scammed and insulted. There WAS however a wonderful vet tech who made up for the bad experience and was very kind/understanding.

I had my puppy fixed there and he was having a hard time waking up the staff took my puppy home for the night to take care of him and called me through the night to let me know how he was amazing staff and vet

Excellent vet, courteous and knowledgable staff. Always up front with costs and competitive with prices. These folks love animals and it really shows. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else....

While we were satisfied with the Doctors abilities, we were not impressed with the front desk service. Could have been having a bad day but we found the consistency of poor tact throughout each visit. Also added on additional costs after quoting on the phone prior to. Seemed somewhat unprofessional. Again, good Dr. not so good front end phone person.

Only vet in Port Alberni willing to take an emergency C-section on a small dog last minute. Saved our family dogs life, unfortunately the puppies where unsaveable. BUt this vet did everything in her power. Thank you, you where the only people that cared and even closed there office for two hours to perform the surgery. Best Vet in my opinion who truly cares and not in it for just money like so many others in town.

Very professional vet. Listened to what I had to say , gave my dog a thorough exam and apropriate treatment and also some great tips . The staff are all knowledgable and caring . I would recommend this vet to others with confidence !!

The education that i receive when it comes to my pet is remarkable. From the front staff right to the Doctor, I could not ask for better service, honesty, and compassion when it comes to my pet. It truly shows that all the staff love animals. Great job everyone, and thank you
