Dr. Pappan operated on my dog Sadie Mae to correct a Boston Terrier nasal problem. The surgery was a success. Dr. Pappan called later that night and his staff called later in the week. I was very pleased with his service and staff.

Dr. Pappan is a wonderful surgeon, with an excellent reputation among local veterinarians. Just a few days ago, my cat had bladder stones blocking his urethra, and his regular veterinarian was not able to clear them during surgery. We were running out of options quickly, and if the stones could not be cleared, my cat was facing euthanasia. Dr. Pappan came in late afternoon on an emergency basis and spent 3 hours in surgery on my cat! He honestly saved my sweet Midnight's life and I am so appreciative for a wonderful surgeon like Dr. Pappan. I did not expect a follow up call, but do know that if there had been any issues with my cat, Dr. Pappan would have been there to help us out. Midnight is doing great. Thank you so much, Dr. Pappan, for saving his life!

Dr. Stephen Pappan operated on my puppy dog Kona 6 months ago. He never did a follow up visit to see how Kona was doing. Since then I have had Kona in and out of the Vet office numerous times and he has been given a lot of medicine that has not helped him. I went to Gulf Coast Veterinarian Hospital after a referral from Dr. Jimmy Dietz. I spoke with Dr. Beale, and he said that he believed that the string from the surgergy Dr. Pappan did to Kona broke after the first week! I have spent well over 10,000 dollars in 6 months trying to heal my dog. I could care less about the money, but I refuse to let Stephen Pappan operate on another dog again! On top of everything else, Kona contracted the Merca staff inefction from the fishing line that Stephen Pappan put in. And again, He did no follow up visit. If you are a dog owner and love your puppy as much as I do, I implore you to not use Stephen Pappan!
