This visit was the worst I've had in the lifetime of having pets (28yrs). This place is all about doing expensive and excessive testing on animals...my dog had a little dry spot on his forehead next thing I know I am into them for 5 weeks of $40 washes for and "early ditected mite problem" recommened along with 3 skin scrapes costing $45 dollars a peice. They charge a bio-hazard waste mgmt. charge when he received no shots that day...we were told to come back in 2 weeks for an 46.00 office visit . Then in four weeks for another $46 visit. I left without paying the $200 "free" first visit. that was with only two weeks worthy of meds for the condition...I will be getting a second opinion next week, and update this review on wether he has a ligit problem or not.The doc called my puppy whiny and wouldn't let us hold him whiole we waited for results, they also kept him in the back with all other sick dogs. NEVER set foot in Abbott Animal Hospital...I know I won't be.
