Our dog was attacked by another dog and suffered serious trauma to both eyes.The next day I was frantically searching for an Opthamologist, and Forest Hill Animal Clinic said they could help us that morning. We made the hour and a half drive to Toronto.To make a long story short, Dr. Klys is a lovely man. He CARES for your pet. He cares for your pet like its his only patient. He makes you feel at ease after a traumatic incident. He responds to all your emails and inquiries.We had to make some tough decisions, but they were the right ones with advice from Dr.Klys. This is a first rate Animal Clinic, with first rate staff and Veterinarians. Dr Klys is responsible for giving our young dog a chance for a normal life, but he is also responsible for helping her owners move past such a traumatic experience.

Brought my dog Jemma here and saw Dr. Klys i was very impressed how he was so good with Jemma and i he is very caring and excellent with both people and pet's and is very honest i for sure would recommend him to other's thank you Dr. Klys. Nancy and Jemma.

Doctor Franklin is amazing. He has seen my dogs since they were puppies and we followed him to this clinic when he recently moved. He loves animals and deeply cares about their well being. He takes the time to explain to us everything and I can always trust that he will suggest the best treatment. One of my dogs has several issues and if it wasn’t for Doctor Franklin we would have spent significantly more money without seeing the results we’ve seen under Doctor Franklin’s care.

Dr. Klys was referred to us by our Vet for our dog who had a corneal ulcer. The Clinic is spotless and having morning walk-in attention is fabulous. We were immediately impressed with both Dr. Klys and Dr. Goldstein. Their love of animals shows instantly and you know that your pet is in the best hands possible. The exam concluded that surgery was required and it was done immediately that day. Everything was explained to us in detail prior to our decision to proceed. We received an updated phone call once the surgery was completed. We went home with detailed instructions and were told not to think twice about calling no matter the day or time. A couple of days later we thought a stitch was lost and we called Dr. Goldstein on the weekend. Got a reply within minutes. Our dog is now 100% better. It was an extreme pleasure dealing with the doctors and all the staff. Everyone is so helpful and caring. Don't hesitate to contact this Clinic. You will not be disappointed.

Got a referral to forest hill for my dog's corneal ulcer. Great doctors there. Dr. Klys did the surgery on my dog and I had met most of the doctors there during the 8 weeks recheck. They were all very nice, professional and knowledgable. I definitely would recommend people here for both regular visits and referral for eye. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you're doing, but they're worth it. The walk-in times are great, but can be busy and the traffic near here is quite bad.

Dr. Franklin really cares about the animals. He is always looking for a solution to help them, never gives up. He brought my cat from the dead twice already. She is 16 but with Dr. Franklin on her side she is going to be 20. He turned every page of the medical books for my dog that has a rare tumor to find a solution. All this thinking how to help me spend less !!!! How about that! I know it sound unreal .... Don't believe, go check.
It is so comforting to see that there are doctors like Dr. Franklin for whom it is not "just a business" but it is about helping someone.
Clone Dr. Franklin!!!

Doctor Franklin is amazing! He is a regular vet not an eye specialist. He took his time and talked to me about the symptoms and medication. He is patient and kind. Thumbs up Doctor Franklin! The staff is friendly and I did not have to wait. The traffic is brutal in the area but Dr. Franklin is worth it. We had an ultrasound next door - very convenient to have the specialists so close. Consultation price is the regular price for a vet.

I have been going to this clinic for just over 2 years to Dr Klys for one (and now both)of my dog's eye issues. He is a credit to his profession, so caring, informed and compassionate. The staff are always friendly. I highly recommend either Dr Klys or Dr Goldberg at this facility.

This clinic scared me into thinking my cat had a malignous eye tumor to charge me 2000$ for it's removal and tests. Turns out it was only a foreign object in his eye that gave the impression it was a tumor. I wish I had gone to another clinic instead of that one! Still can't believe what a rip off. They know how much we love our pets and use that to extort money is disgusting.

The veterinarians and staff are professional, courteous and helpful. I have taken my cat to this clinic for the past 7 1/2 years and have always received good, professional service. The wait can be long in the mornings when it's first-come-first-served, but it's possible to book appointments in the afternoon.

I went to this clinic because they specialize in eye problems. I was satisfied with the care my dog received by Dr. Gleiser for his eyes. My only complaint is the receptionist could be more professional and they tend to push the vacines as most vets do.

There are a number of vets at this clinic one excellent and one I would not deal with. I had a dog (client for over 10 years) that had to be put down on a Saturday (I called the clinic about 2 hours before closing) and the vet in question was TOO BUSY to even return my call which was placed at 10:00 AM. The receptionist told us he would call back but by 2:30 PM we realised that he was not going to call so we went to an emergency clinic and had the dog put down there. No apology was forthcoming and the owner of the clinics attitude/comment was "there is a 20% turn over in the client base per year". End of story. If you attend this clinic I can recommend Dr Meauro. She is excellent but not always there. Dr. Klise, well I would not recommend him. Dr. Goldstein, the owner of the clinic, is very nice and a good vet but I was very disappointed at his attitude in this situation. This is a very busy practice so you can expect to wait to see a vet, often well past your appointment time.
