I took my 3 year old Shepherd in after noticing that he had lost his appetite. Dr. Andrew Osler took a blood sample and gave meds for his stomach. The next morning I had to rush Nikko back to the clinic after noticing that he was breathing abnormally. Dr. Osler listened to his lungs and took x-rays. He sent us home with more medication with no formal diagnosis. He lack of knowledge and uncertainty made me weary. I sent Nikko's radiographs for a second opinion immediately. I was informed to rush my dog to a Emergency Vet Hospital. I rushed Nikko to Newmarket where he spent 20 minutes before I was informed that he would not return home with me. I was told that Nikko's lungs were completely filled with fluid, most likely a severe case of phenomena.Dr. Osler called checking in on Nikko two days after he passed. After calling the clinic back and speaking to a technician, Dr. Osler never bothered to call and offer his condolences. Dr. Osler's unprofessionalism and ignorance was appalling.

We recently had our lab put to sleep due to several medical reasons. It was to our disappointment that after they got our money 505.00 to put our lab to rest. We never got a card or anything from them saying sorry for your loss or even a phone call. It felt like it was all about money and no caring. Our lab had a 2 lb tumor on his shoulder/leg and when we first went in to see Dr. Angela we were told to just take him home and enjoy him. No talk about surgery or anything. We had only been seeing them for a year and a half due to we moved into the area. But my husband and I felt that it was all about money and not about how can we keep him alive without costing a million dollars. Whatever happen to being a vet for the animal and not about how much we can get out of the customer. Very sad and very disappointed in Nottawasaga Valley clinic.

Dr. Angela and the team at Nottawasaga are just like family to us. They have held our hands and helped our hearts through difficult decisions AND joyous ones, too. You cannot find a better or more talented group of people anywhere.

Excellent quality of care - Dr. Halbert and associates provide an excellent quality of care for all pets. We lost our 12 year old newfie and the compassion shown was out of this world. We have been using this clinic for over 4 years and it is the best we have found over our 30 years of pet ownership.
