Friendly staff, very clean facility but emulate modern day bank robbers! They lack integrity, ethics, and take advantage of the emotions their clients have for their pets. They see dollar signs when you walk through their door, not a pet in need...

I have been with Pemb. Anim. Hosp. as a customer/client for over 20yrs and have experienced only the most professional and best of service any time of day or night with staff and doctors. Their services are second to none in my opinion.

This clinic does everything possible to make $$$, sometimes at the expense of your pet's health. You MUST be a very assertive and knowledgable consumer to ensure your animal gets what's best for him, NOT what's best for this clinic's bank account. They're worse than car salesmen: One young "vet"--this clinic employs vet students for appointments and surgeries (but doesn't WARN you they're students--was so focused on upselling dental surgery during an annual visit, he didn't realize he was looking at records for the wrong dog! Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after my dog had received a distemper vaccine he didn't need. Another student had to be directed thru an exam by a vet tech. Still another recommended very painful, $$$ tests. At that point I looked for a new vet--who ruled out the problem with a simple urine test! But hey, they DO have a NEW building and cute, bubbly receptionists in matching uniforms if you're into that.
