Dr. Ibrahim looked after and cared for my last cat for 19 years. Now, he's taking extremely good care of my second cat who is presently extremely sick and he has gone beyond the call of duty to care and to do everything he can for my cat. I'm eternally grateful to him for everything he has done. His clinic, Le Refuge, is an appropriate name as his goal, I believe, is to help animals feel safe and well cared for when they see him. If you're looking for a vet with a heart, he's the person to go to.

I truly don't understand how this vet actually gets so many positive ratings (Possibly because he writes them all himself?). If you sincerely love your companion, please do not bring it to this vet. I found him cold and unfriendly. Sure, he charges a low price for an initial consultation. But he will eventually propose you to do a bunch of unnecessary tests just in the hope of making money. He is surely not the most honest and ethical vet that you can find out there and even told me Good Luck after seeing my pet. Please stay away from this clinic at all cost.

I'm so glad I found Dr. Ibrahim's clinic! He is so gentle with my cat, takes the time to talk with me while my cat walks around. His clinic is very inviting and the staff is wonderful too. I had some little emergencies in the past and I was always welcomed with reassuring smiles and effective treatments. The very best vet I've ever encountered :)

I have been going to this clinic for years. Very pleased with the service and treatments my dog and two cats receive. His pricing is VERY reasonable. I do recommend him.

I had the WORST experience ever going there. I brought my dog in because my clinic was closed that day. Dr Ibrahim took my dog in, started his exam on her. He was rough through his exam. He then started to mention how my dog is gonna need knee surgery and she's gonna stop walking from pain in a couple of years... Then he takes my dog for blood test without mentioning where he's taking my dog or anything. We then leave, waiting for the results. (She had been throwing up that day and she wasn't feeling too too well.) He then calls us and tells me that my dog is DYING (????????) that she's gonna need to stay overnight and it's gonna cost me at least 800$... I ended up not going to him and monitoring her overnight until my regular clinic opened. I absolutely hated my experience with Dr Ibrahim. He made me feel anxious, scared and overwhelmed. Definitely NEVER going back to him.

I dont understand how this vet is getting this many good reviews. We were going to him for couple of years. But the last two years went downhill. The so called caring doc with cheap pricing well that all changed. Well pricing is still better than many places but who cares when the vet lies his way to get you to do unnecessary treatments and procedures. Not only is he rough with his hands and uncaring while handling my dog. He does not explain well when you ask a question. He will though answer very well if you show him that we will go ahead with all his suggestions. We left having knots in our stomach. We finally found another vet that is amazing. Literally all dr.ibrahim said was a complete lie. He was just out to get our money. Our new vet assured us that nothing was wrong with our dog. And certainly did not need a procedure done to him. Dont believe the few good reviews or go see it for yourself i bet though he ll be super nice the first time and then... better to Avoid this vet

One of my dogs was diagnosed with the need for a $5000.00 surgery by another clinic. But Dr . Ibrahim prescribed anti inflammation drugs and my beloved dog lived another year or so and died at the age of 13

Très bon service ! par contre il ne faut pas trop être pressé car c'est tellement populaire qu'on peut attendre un peu plus que l'heure du rendez-vous en question. Dr Ibrahim prend le temps de vous expliquer tout et de vous donner toutes les options. Les prix sont intéressants. Il vous envoie même des e-mails avec des vidéos de vos animaux s'ils subissent une chirurgie ! Voilà je recommande cette clinique !

Totally unimpressed with this vet. My dog was itching badly from allergies and had an ear hematoma. I choose this guy due to reviews stating he did NOT push unnecessary tests & was very caring. Also got a quote for the surgery with all possible extra fees after telling the receptionist the pertinent info. Upon entering the room, he abruptly plopped my dog onto table, examined him brusquely, said he needed dental surgery due to broken tooth causing him pain (which I'd never seen ANY signs of before), manipulated his limbs, claiming my extremely active, agile dog had arthritis & needed treatment such as expensive food, injections, pills, etc. At last addressing the reason I'd come there, he tried to push flea meds for all my animals as the cause for itching despite this occurring every Aug/Sept. Finally, he gave me a higher price for surgery than quoted, handed me a bunch of pamphlets and walked out disinterestedly when I asked just for pills for his allergy. The staff, though, was lovel

Best clinic in Montreal! Service friendly and great. Price are fair and they have in mind our budget. Xray blood test and all the care i need from a vet is available and excellent. Even open staurday and sunday. Surgery on the saturday morning very convenient!

Very good small clinic. The doctor and staff really care for the animals while being considerate of the owner's budget (a rarity in Montreal). The staff took very good care of my cat and saved his life. Consultation fees are low and costs, in general, very reasonable.

From the beggining to the end the service was great. Excellent quality care. My cat was always stress elsewere but now we can say that he was totaly different looking by the window! Excellent service avec beaucoup de méticulosité dans les soins. Mon chat est demeuré calme en regardant par la fenêtre situé tous juste a côté de la table d'examen.

My dog had a problem of a severe fracture. He need orthopedic surgery with plate, screws, wires and a cast. All the other place was 5000$ or more. Clinique Lerefuge did an amazing job for a fraction of the price. Now my dog is walking like a new puppy again. I give to all my strong recommendation!!

première expérience à cette clinique.Déjà au téléphone, l'accueuil est sympatique. Rendez-vous très rapide pour mon Léo qui n'a pas vu de vétérinaire depuis environ 2 ans, il est trop stressé quand il sort et les dernières fois, où il est allé, le vet n'a pas pu l'examiner. Alors je devais trouver un vet très patient. Ce qui fut le cas au refuge. Mon chat n'a pas hurlé ou mordu comme les autres fois. Très surprenant et impressionnant. Le dr Ibrahim a du lui faire une prise de sang et Léo n'a pas bronché. Il lui a désinfecté l'oreille et toujours pas de grosse réaction. J'ai adoré cette première visite, et j'oubliais le prix d'un examen est beaucoup moins élevé que les autres cliniques. On m'a très bien expliqué comment traiter mon gros trésor, et je n'aurai plus peur de l'emmener chez le dr.Ibrahim dès qu'il y aura un problème avec un de mes chat. N'ayez pas peur d'y aller, c'est vraiment différent des autres cliniques.

Excellent palce were the service is extraordinary. For a lot less the find and threath the problem of my dog, with care and compassion. Thanks to Doctors and staff! Excellent service. Pour beaucoup moins de sous il on traité mon animal avec compasion et service hors pair. Radiographie de haute qualité test sanguin rapide et même un café. merci aux docteur et toutes l'équipe de clinique vétérianure le refuge.
