This veterinary clinic is wonderful, the staff are fantastic, it has a relaxed, laid back atmosphere especially having residence cats. I spent 3 days in a row there recently, with my very ill beloved kitty and she got the best of care and attention by the staff esp. Dr. Jessica Richards who was realistic about Cordelia's prognosis and didn't "sugar coat" anything. She didn't try to convince me to do unnecessary tests. I recommended this clinic to 2 of my girlfriends who have cats and convinced them to transfer over from the vet. services they'd been using. I have nothing but good to say about this clinic, both the excellent care provided and costs. I know of at least one other Kingston Animal Hospital that could definitely follow your example especially in costs and not being pushy when it comes to treatments offered! Joey McArthur

Phenomenal staff. Shirley was great on the phone for booking my appointment and giving me a range for the appointment price and accommodating my time that I could have it done. I have had Dr MacDoabld twice for my horse and both times she was phenomenal with him. She is very kind and understanding to all the horses I have seen her with. Highly recommend her as a vet!

Have been bringing my dog to dr ball and dr well weselowski for almost 7 years. Great vets, very willing to take their time to discuss treatment and plans. Have been more than generous and accommodating with treatment costs. I would certainly say that remaining with them consistently has left them very invested in my pets wellbeing. The front desk staff are als great, they are busy which is to be expected but certainly have the time for you and assisting you when you request it. Would recommend this vet to anyone that wants amazing care for their beloved pets.

I found my horse out in the pasture with two enormous cuts on her face; one of which was to the bone and stopped right at the edge of her eyelid. It took 2 HOURS for a vet to arrive. In my opinion that is completely unacceptable. That being said Dr. MacDonald did a wonderful job stitching her up and I was very pleased with the results. However, having to wait that long for a vet in an emergency really bothers me and I will not be using the service again.

St. Lawrence Veterinary Services is an excellent clinic! They have been looking after our animals for over 15 years. We have 4 horses and 2 dogs. I give this clinic the highest rating in all respects. Their small animal vets are top-notch, honest, and caring. Dr. Ball has been caring for our dogs for a long time, and his bed-side manner, knowledge, and patience make him a great vet. Dr. Hammond and Dr. Oddie have always been great looking after our horses. I have always felt comfortable with this clinic and their fees have always been fair.

My vet wasnt available as it was a long weekend... so called ken to have him come and look at my horses leg. She had a deep cut which had swollen. He cleaned the cut and told us to keep it clean, and gave bute. Said he would call to check up on her later on. Day after had our regular vet in and turns out it was badly infected and the infection had reached her blood. With a very good fight she passed during the night two days later. We have yet to have a "check up call" from Ken.

I take my 2 cats and 2 dogs here, Excellent care, very reasonable prices, and Very compassionate caring care of your pet. Staff is just wonderful!

Had to deal with Dr. Peter Oddie once for my horse's lameness issue. From the first phone call I made to book the appointment, I did not like his attitude. Even if it was my horse, he wanted to know if the barn owner would be there. Several times I told him I did not know her sceduale, so was unsure if she would be there. She happened to be there that day, and he spoke to her the whole appointment about my horse!! He performed the same exam that I did on him, was rough with him and rude to me. Just to say, he will never again come near another one of my horses.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! The doctors are very compassionate and understanding of each of our pets needs.I would recommend others to go there.
