The secretary Hollie is an extremely awful person. After a misunderstanding and rescheduling an appointment, I was turned away on the rescheduled appointment and gaslighted as if it was my fault, then she refused to reschedule a second time because I was to blame for the original appointment not going as planned and my priorities weren’t “straight”. I left in a panic attack and tears as the appointment was an emergency. This woman needs to be fired for her complete disregard for other people.

Dont go here. We were taking care of an elderly dog, purchased medication for her, we gab her to her old owner for ONE DAY and he brings her in and puts her down, and they still allowed me to purchased meds for this dog without twlling us they put the dog down. We wi'll never ever return. They killed our dog.

I was not pleased with the service at the previous veterinary clinic I went to. I read reviews about different animal clinics and chose Fonthill Animal Hospital. After bringing my cat in for a checkup, I must agree with the other reviews about this animal clinic. Dr. Todd discusses alternatives and listens to the clients interests and concerns, and then makes suggestions. I am more than pleased with the service I received from Dr. Todd and the staff.

I recently moved to the area and somehow acquired a new family member on the way. this little kitten was so skinny and malnourished, her fur was a mess and her eye was infected. When I went to see Dr. Todd I was expecting her to tell me she had no hope but she put together a plan on giving this little one a chance. After just a couple of weeks we could see significant improvement, and now after 2 months she is a bright eyed "wild" new addition to our household. thank you Dr. Todd, for giving her a chance when others wouldn't have. Your heart is truly in the right place.

Dr Todd has been our vet for three years. We followed her to her new clinic. She is amazing with my dog Cooper. Cooper is scared of all vets: Dr Todd is slow moving with him yet stern she's wonderful

I cannot say enough great things about this clinic! First time dog owner's wish a ton of questions about my German Shepherd puppy -- Dr. Todd took the time with me to discuss all of my question and concerns during his first vaccine appointment. She was very understanding and answered all of my questions in regular "human words" making it very easy for me to understand. She was very patient, and gentle with my puppy which put me at ease that she is indeed a kind person and a wonderful, caring vet. The clinic was VERY clean, and her staff was very nice and friendly! Can't wait to go back, and even more so... I can't wait to pass on my good vibes for others looking for a wonderful place to take their animals. If you're looking for a vet...look no further... I have had the pleasure of having my pets cared for by Dr. Claire Todd since 2001. As the owner of a Weimaraner, I was looking for a knowledgeable practitioner who understood the 'quirks' of the breed! And I found exactly the care I needed with Dr. Todd. A second weim was added to my family and Dr. Todd would have almost 200 lbs of wiggling grey beasts in her examination room. My weims got themselves in lots of trouble over the years, and Dr. Todd did many emergency surgeries to repair the damages inflicted by raccoons, muskrats, etc. My guys loved their vet, and my vet loved my guys. Now I have a new Weim in my life- a rescue who was sorely abused and starved. I am so happy to have Dr. Todd to care for her at Fonthill Animal Hospital.

Best Vet in the Niagara Peninsula in my book, and her staff is great!

I recently took a chance switching vets. I wasn't happy with my old vet but this new clinic was closer to my home. The staff were so friendly and my dog LOVED the treats!! Dr. Todd was very kind and patient with Casey. She spent a lot of time with us which surprised me as I'm used to vet visits being sort of quick. GREAT service and very reasonable prices.

Recently Dr. Todd took care of my grandfather's dog, "Lucky". I went with my grandfather to help him and both of us were extremely impressed by Dr. Todd throughout the entire appointment. My grandpa was very worried about his pet but Dr. Todd took care of Lucky (and my grandpa) she helped ease my grandpa's anxiety by teaching him and explaining to him exactly what was wrong with Lucky and that he was going to be ok. She also provided generic pain medication for Lucky to help him continue on with a higher quality of life (in doing so she helped my grandpa as well). When we left we both felt much more confident in Lucky and his health and my grandpa was genuinely relieved. Dr. Todd is a fantastic veterinarian and I recommend her to all family and friends with pets, she has absolutely all my confidence. Thank you so much Dr. Todd!!!

Dr Todd has treated our cats for years, always providing very knowledgeable and thorough advice and options. Recently, our cat needed emergency treatment and Dr Todd took care of him immediately--rearranging her schedule to give him the care he needed as he was in distress and pain. Dr Todd not only has exceptional technical skills, she is very intuitive both with pets and with owners! There is never any doubt that she has my cat's interests at heart and i trust her advice....great value in pet care.
