Dr.Wawryk is always so good with my fur babies! She goes above and beyond to take the time to answer all my question, never making me feel rushed. She provides guidance on what she believes yet is in no way pushy. She’s very compassionate and easy to talk to. My pets and I always leave feeling good. Thank you Dr.Wawryk. 10/10 recommend.

Have been going to this clinic for years, although, my last visit a couple week will be my last. I waited over 40 minutes to be brought into a room, only to wait another 15. Dr.Shannon may have experience, but has no regard for others time. After she finally came into the room, she "apologized" for the wait, and attempted to place blame on the receptionists, saying she wasn't aware I was in the room, I knew this was untrue because the girl who was dealing with me was making her best effort to make sure staff in the back knew I had been waiting for 40 minutes. This was not the first time I have waited this long. I requested a transfer of records and have been getting the run around for over a week. Ive been told Dr.Shannon needs to look over the file to make sure everything is in order...yet I was JUST there, what needs to be put in order, unless she's just not doing her job correctly? I advise new comers to stay clear, and find a different clinic to rely on.

I have never had a bad experience with Stony Plain Vet until today. I called at 8:00am, It is long distance for me to call so I did not want to sit on hold for awhile. Apparently they were prepping for morning surgeries. Ok completely understandable. I took the day off work to have my great dane puppy looked at. I was in a panic, She injured her leg over night & took the day off work to have her looked at by a vet. I was told to come at 5:40pm. I asked if there was a xray tech on site at that time. I was placed on hold & then was told NO. The next appointment was tomorrow at 2:40pm. UNACCEPTABLE especially a torn cruciate. When you see your dog in obvious pain who wants to wait another day? I told recptionist OK I will take the 5:40pm appointment. If I have to leave her over night for xrays fine. Then the receptionist says OH that time is already taken!! Seriously? I told her to forget it I will take my business elsewhere. So I did Spruce Grove Vet Clinic is AWESOME!!will be my choice!

We had nothing but a run around with the staff. Been going to this vet and have walked out after the two receptionist telling that they could not find my pet's files. then one helps someone get pet food and the other is on the phone. I stood there with two dogs nervous for being there. they helped other people and when the other girl returned. The one reception asked did you get the file, and second girl said Oh! I thought you were getting it. Back and forth they keep asking the same question. After waiting for a hour already. listening to these girls. I walked out. All I wanted was a certificate to take my dogs to the USA

Stony Plain Vet Clinic has always been there when I needed them, provoded quality service at a reasonable rate. Dr.Wawryk is one of the best vets in the area, she has a lot of experience. She has more experience then some of the other clinics vets put together.... One should be expect to wait but think about it, have you gone into any medical practice and got in right away... They take drop offs if your so inclined to carry on with your busy schedule and deal with emergencies on a daily basis. Hey I waited for 20 minutes in line at Pets Mart the other day, and they are only retail! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone, yes you might have to wait to get in but it is well worth it! The clinic is very well equipped, I have had exams, vaccines, surgeries and dentals including X-Ray done here, I can't get that all done at my family doctor....

As of today my I will be taking my business else where. This clinic is a joke,it has gotten worse and worse. Today is the last straw. Called last Thursday for prescription refill and was told it would be ready Friday. Long story short I called back 3x until it was Saturday closing & still no prescription just more runaround. Monday came and still NO prescription more excuses, finally today Tuesday FIVE days after I called it in I get a call back to tell me that as usual Dr. Lecky refuses to refill it unless I bring him in and pay for an exam fee. Spoke to the vet at length last time I was there, she assured me she would put refills of all meds and notes of our discussion in file as I explained I would not keep paying 3 minute $70 exam fees for the EXACT meds for the EXACT same issue. She agreed it was ridiculous and assured refills. After waiting 5 days for an refill that there was no intention of filling I can now wait to get in else where. Thanks Stony vets. Have a good one.

I have been going to this clinic for over 8 years and have seen many changes. They have had some horrendous receptionists in the past but I am glad to see 2 previous receptionists are back and they were very friendly and organized once again. The technicians are always helpful and I like that you can speak to them directly and if they do not know the answer they will find the answer for me. Anita and Raquel are by far my favorites. The Dr.'s are all amazing. Dr. Wawrykis a very caring and compassionate person and a great vet! All my pets love her. These other reviews obviously do not know the Dr. I know. Yes it's true there is always a 15-20 min wait but there is at any good Dr. I expect it at any professional appt. You wouldn't go to a restaurant that didn't have any cars in the parking lot would you? I Love this clinic and would not take my animals anywhere else.

It is a shame the way staff is treated in this clinic. They are put down, yelled at and made to feel inferior in front of other staff and worse in front of clients. I am not at all surprised by how many staff this clinic has gone through in such a short period of time, always seems to be someone new there. Perhaps if they learned to treat each other with respect and dignity it wouldn't be such a horrendous place to work. I had heard things about this clinic, but always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but after bringing my pet here, I have seen that there are serious issues with the way the staff is treated. If the staff is treated this poorly, what happens to the animals behind closed doors?The waits were unacceptable the last straw was when after a long wait in the waiting room and another long wait in the exam room, to hear staff chitchatting for an extended time before the vet came in was the last straw. I won't be taking my pet back again.

called at 3.00pm with an emergency for my dog as we recently moved here and we had not seen them before. we were told that the doctor had plans and could not see them. We were lucky as we ended up going to his regular vet in Edmonton, Parkwest, and he waited for us. wouldnt ever call them again, and we remain very loyal to parkwest. What ever happened to service?

Absolutely the most inefficient clinic in the area. Dr Parks is awesome but the management of the facility is a joke. They never keep appointment times as booked. Be prepared to waste your day.

Just a warning as I don't want anyone else to be treated like I was. I was warned NOT to work at this clinic by MANY people, I did not listen lol I SHOULD HAVE!
I worked there for about a week and it was an awful experience. I have never been treated so poorly!!! I was belittled by the owner in front of the clinic staff. You will be talked about to your face, behind your back, snapped at, belittled, made cry and learn to be fearful in a short amount of time.

I had to take my dog in to have the ears checked and while I was there I had to; 1. Wait super long as the vet late! And 2. Listen to the vet berate and bully her staff. She called a staff member an idiot and worse, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was! I feel bad for the staff who work there if they're bullied so badly like that! There are a lot of reviews about how grumpy the desk clerks seem. NO WONDER! I will never go here again.

Don't work here unless you really like leaving work at the end of the day feeling like you're not worth it. Backstabbing and gossiping is alive here. The best part is that no one makes any effort to hide the gossiping. The head will absolutely make your feel inadequate and throw you under the bus.

We were so impressed by the care Dr. Lecky gave to our dog. She is so kind, caring, and knowledgable. We felt completely comfortable with her and you could tell she truly cared about our dog. The staff at the clinic are all very kind and good at what they do. We didn't do a lot of research on prices, but they seemed reasonable. Overall, very good experience with this clinic and Dr. Lecky.

Many things about this clinic are amazing. The owner of the clinic however, is horrible. I have heard terrible stories about her around town but never really thought anything of it until I heard her swearing at one of her employees where she thought no one could hear/see her. No wonder the staff turnover is so high. It seems I have seen 30 receptionists in the 4 years I went to this clinic.You will wait at least 30 mins for any appointment with Dr. Wawryk. I stopped seeing her after I saw her driving out of the parking lot 5 minutes before the appointment I had scheduled to see her. The young vets I have seen there have been amazing and compassionate and for the most part the rest of the staff has been pleasant as well.

Dr wawryk. Is truly amazing. I don't care if she is late for an apt. When she comes in she is so focused on my puppy and all my questions and needs. I do not and will not trust any one other then her with my puppy. She has given me back more strength in being a pet mommy I'm truly blessed to have her taking care of my koda. And then front end staff is amazing. And so friendly. Thank you all. For your hard work and love

While this clinic has beautiful facilities, it does NOT make up for the horrible service I have received here. Dr. Wawryk is NEVER on time for appointments, and it's not uncommon that I wait 20-30 minutes for her! I find the appointments rushed and the front reception staff is unfriendly and even catty amongst themselves!! I will be finding a new vet clinic ASAP!

When the receptionist finally answered, she seemed sarcastic, and disgruntled that I had questions about pricing. I then discovered Onoway is quite a bit cheaper, and cancelled my appt at Stony, after refusing to be put on hold. Too busy for my business

Amazing vets! Both my dogs have special needs and they were the only vets to know about these needs ahead of time! There also super easy to get into and very accommodating! They always put the animals needs first! My one has bad anxiety and the one time it was really bad they gave her some happy meds on the house! Wouldn't go anywhere else! All the staff are great and always know who my dogs are when we arrive. They also call and check up after appointments!

Dr. Wawryk is amazing, I have been coming here for over 10 years and have always had excellent service. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff are always friendly. I used to drive almost an hour from the city to come here after I received the same service for just a little over half the price an Edmonton vet was going to charge, so their prices can't be beat! I now live about an hour and a half from the clinic and will still continue to go there and wouldn't trust my little guys to anyone else!

This clinic is absolutely beautiful! When you first walk in it feels clean, friendly, and relaxing. The girls at the front are compassionate and very focused on you and your animal during your visit. I have been going to this clinic for about 5 years now from Edmonton and really enjoy the atmosphere. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the top notch equipment and care that you receive! Even with the 40 minute drive this is well worth both my time, and my pets comfort and care! Highly recommended!
