Dr. Haugo & her staff are caring & give me the information I need to make choices in my pet's care. I love it that I can make weekend appointments & there is 24 hour emergency care available.

My comment is simply this, Desert Veterinary Clinic will get every penny possible out of you and it will withhold all practical advise. My experience was not legally criminal but I feel robbed - I have a dead dog and an $800 vet bill for <24 hours of care, no surgery just IV's and stuff. In the end I wish my vet would have been honest and suggest putting my sick dog to sleep as an initial option. Rather it was $500 to walk in the door (with some in-house blood tests) and then the vet wanted to hospitalize my dog for 3 days at a bill of $1500! We fought for just one day of hospitalization (against their wishes). After the day of hospitilization our dog was much much worse then we brought her in and we elected to put her down. At Desert Vets you will be in a state of the art facility with nice staff and YOU WILL PAY FOR IT ALL!!
