I have been with Dr Keeler for 22 years I would take my pets to no one else her staff treat the pets you bring in as if they were their own they are very kind and thoughtful to staff and people alike I love going here and my dog loves going here if you are looking for a new vet oseeking a second opinion you should see them³. I have never known Dr Keeler to lie to me I'll make things seem different than what they are I find her to be a very honest person I think the very highest of her and her staff the best love Hilda

Office girls were kind.
I have a mature (13 year old) malti-poo who weighs about 5 lbs.
He will nip at and/or bite people trying to touch him in times of stress, but over the years, professionals such as veterinarians and groomers have found ways to handle him – as any professional working with animals does.
Dr. Lori Keeler was completely inept at handling him. We went to the clinic for two vaccination needles – should have been a simple visit. I made the mistake of leaving the examination room because my little dog often does better with strangers if I’m not around. I figured he was in professional hands but when I heard him yelp and cry out, my heart sank!
He did end up biting Dr. Keeler – much more aggressively than he usually nips anyone, so I know she did not handle him at all in a professional manner.
I left the clinic very upset, feeling that my older pet had not received caring or professional care at all!
There are a lot of vets around - DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!

We brought our new puppy in for a consultation and his first shots, and we love the way the staff treated him (and us)! Happy to have found this clinic in our neighbourhood.

Took our puppy for initial meet & greet and had a very positive visit. All questions and concerns were answered and the staff very caring and helpful.

All the staff there were amazing. They were great with our very shy scared cat, they made us feel like they cared and were so good with us easing our concerns and fears.

I called in in February to get a quote to have my cat spayed. They said $300 with microchip. When I went in however, they charged me almost $600! Their excuse... "the receptionist is new and she gave you last years prices".
After my cats spay she started having small pieces of stool fall out of her bum. She wasn't even yet a full year and was a very healthy cat. The vet sold me an expensive vet food to switch her over to and some probiotics. Within a day and a half she was so badly constipated NOTHING would pass let alone fall out.
Brought her in and they recommended an enema which they did. They did not get anything out but sent her home with a laxative hoping for the best. The next day she still hadn't pooped. I called in and the tech said to wait longer. The following day she still had not pooped and so I took her in again. The vet there that day was not the regular vet and after examining her said he couldn't even get the tube in for an enema because her intestines were proba

I recently took my elderly mother's kitten in to be neutered through the SNAP program. I cannot say enough great things about this clinic. The Vet explained how and why she is able to provide her services for $60.00 to low income ppl. For that price she also micro chipped, clipped nails and did an overall exam. WOW, and the ladies here are so very nice. I will definitely start bringing my own cats here from now on. Someone else took their cat for the same procedure through the same program and Sundance Vet and they wanted an extra $84.00 to do an exam, $90.00 to micro chip, and still more to clip the nails. Our sky had a first visit at the willow park animal clinic. We were very happy and comfortable with this place. Specially Dr.Lori is very friendly. :D Sky is happy healthy active giant puppy now.. growing bigger everyday. Thank you!

We have had our new puppy Sophie in to this clinic for several visits. Dr. Lori Keeler and her staff are so amazing! They are genuinely caring and passionate about what they do! Being new puppy owners, we always have so many question that the staff are always happy to answer. They are very thorough and follow up with a phone call to ensure our puppy is well. We would definitely highly recommend this clinic. Thank you Dr. Lori, Meghan, Melanie and Megan for taking such good care of Sophie!!

I brought home my first puppy and 4 days later I could tell he was very sick. I had an appointment with the Chinook Animal clinic but it wasn’t for 2 days. When I called them and explained the situation they had me bring my puppy right in for examination. It turned out he had contracted Parvo before I had picked him up. They made arrangements for him to be immediately put into isolation at a 24-hour emergency clinic for treatment. They took appropriate precautions at there own clinic to ensure the virus would not be spread. If they had not acted so quickly I’m sure my puppy would not have made it. I was very upset and all the staff were so companionate. I’m happy to say that because of the service I received my puppy is fully recovered and very happy!

Our first experience with a vet clinic with our new puppy and we were very happy with the staff, the vet and their service. It was a very pleasant experience. I have other clinics much closer to our house, but I will continue to use Chinook Animal Clinic.

I can not thank the Staff and Dr. Lori enough for the care they have provided my dogs with over the years. I have sent many others to this clinic. You will never have another vet clinic care as much as they do. They are honest, compassionate and caring. I am grateful to them for all the kindness and support over the years. Very caring and reasonably priced care for my dog, who had been bitten by another dog in an off-leash park. Follow-up phone calls to check if he was ok after initial exam. Several appointments to check his healing and remove the stitches. Gave full information to make decisions about what treatment he required while staying within my budget constraints. Cheerful and warm handling of dog and me, the anxious owner! ??

This is the absolute worst, most inhumane vet clinic around, do not trust your animals with Dr. Keeler! October of 2014 our family had to euthanize our family dog of 18 years and this clinic made this euthanasia the most traumatic experience of our lives (and we have euthanized 4 other animals before). Firstly, the staff couldn't find a vein in our dog and blew out veins in every leg, meanwhile our poor little girl screamed like a baby for approx 20 minutes. Then the staff decided to sedate her, DUH should have done that from the get go! However they didn't fully sedate her, so when they injected the euthanasia directly into her heart she felt it and started screaming. The entire process was absolutely traumatic for our whole family and certainly not humane. Dr. Keeler should have her licensed reviewed, or undergo some further training.

how often do you hear that someone's dog likes going to the vet? Well, mine do! They are always eager to get in and say hello. The staff are fantastic and were incredible in helping us discover why our little Boston was so sick (she's all better now).Even when we're just out for a walk, the dogs always veer over towards the clinic. Can't say enough good stuff!

By far the best clinic I have ever taken my dog. As long as I am in Calgary I wouldn't go anywhere else. Great staff who are both knowledgable and friendly. Very professional and great atmosphere.

This vet clinic really is a hidden gem. THE BEST vet clinic in the city. The staff is professional and caring, Dr. Lori is so knowledgeable, ethical and compassionate in her approach. I feel like my animals are in the best care.

I have tried several clinics in Calgary and was never pleased with the staff and felt I was pressured into purchasing products/treatments for my dogs that were not necessary. Definitely not the case at Chinook Animal Clinic. The staff are so nice and honest and they genuinely love their animal clients. Facilities are clean and welcoming. Would recommend this clinic for sure.

Excellent care for our dogs. We have been going to this clinic since we moved to Calgary. The staff is very compassionate and knowledgeable. I always feel that we are involved in all the decisions made regarding our pets.

I have been going to this clinic with my dogs for the last 8 years, and my cats before that. The staff here are amazing and very caring towards my dogs and us as well. They will take their time with you and explain in detail what is needed and going on with your pet. I can't thank them enough for the service they provide. If I'm walking my dogs by the clinic, they even want to go in and say hi! They have no fears towards the place or the staff!
