I asked for antibiotics - nope. The next day, the hospital did a "swab" of her vulva & inserted a needle into bladder for a urine sample. No infection in urine but the vulva had topical infection....I got antibiotics. Dr. B "SHOULD" HAVE AT THE VERY LEAST swabbed it & looked for infection - very poor/lazy service. RID: 71108

Click to report rating    9/20/23   5     4     4     5   Navigating the world of veterinary care with a rescue dog that's deeply fearful of humans is no small feat. Over the past 9 years, I've tried three different clinics. My dog, who would usually scream at the mere thought of a shot and snap at anyone daring to touch him, had made me almost resign to the idea of never having a peaceful vet visit. Enter Dr. Brar at Lifeline Animal Clinic. Today, in what felt like a scene straight out of a heartwarming movie, my dog allowed me to hold him as he received all his shots, underwent a full body exam, and even had an anal temperature check. The only sign of his usual anxiety? A few lip licks. That's it. I almost leapt up to embrace Dr. Brar in sheer gratitude. The compassion, patience, and expertise exhibited by the entire team at Lifeline Animal Clinic is unparalleled. If you're searching for a vet clinic that truly understands and cares for animals, especially those with traumatic pasts, look no further. Lifeline Animal Clinic. RID: 70846
Click to report rating    4/13/23   3     3     1     1   Dr. Brar was late to the clinic, meeting me for the first time and was dismissive, insensitive, didn't listen to what I was saying, and generally rude. He seems to have no idea how to interact positively with people or pets. What a bad experience. I would never go back and have a pet in his care. RID: 70646
Click to report rating    9/16/20   1     1     1     1   The last time I brought my cat in for a checkup, at the end of the appointment Dr. Brar BLATANTLY looked me up & down, then said "YOU'RE looking GOOOD...". Plus he had made the bad call not to drain her abscess when I'd initially brought her in about that, resulting in a lot of unnecessary agony for her, stress for me, & a hefty bill from having had to bring her to CentralVic when it got really bad the weekend before her follow-up. I won't be going back. RID: 69535
Click to report rating    9/30/18   5     5     5     5   My cat would not be alive right now if it were not for Dr. Brar. He used traditional combined with alternative medicine to save her life. He also kept prices down by not asking for unnecessary tests. He cares deeply about animals. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. RID: 66847
Click to report rating    7/14/18   5     5     5     5   I have been to see Dr. Bar twice now when my regular vet was unable to see my pooch. I have been with the other vet for the last few years but after going to Dr. Bar the second time I have decided to have all records sent to his office and have made this clinic my go to clinic. He has been so very helpful and kind on both occasions and has fit my dog in immediately knowing how concerned I was. This never happened with my previous vet. Also, Dr. Bar will always prescribe something much less expensive at your drug store if he feels it will do the same job as the very expensive meds that the vets themselves sell. I have always had to pay top dollar and been made to purchase the medication that the vets office sells. Can't say enough about this clinic. The staff there are wonderful and on both visits Dr. Bar figured out what was wrong immediately and dealt with the problems so well. RID: 66479
Click to report rating    7/28/16   1     3     4     2   I found Dr Braer to be dismissive and uninterested in my animals symptoms . The staff were unfriendly . Perhaps I caught them on a bad day RID: 61224
Click to report rating    10/19/13   5     5     5     5   Dr. Brar is an amazing vet, who is willing to go the extra mile to help you and your fur babies. I love that he mixes Eastern and Western medicine, to bring out the best of each practice. RID: 47723
Click to report rating    7/30/13   5     5     5     5   thank you so much you is the best vet we ever had!! RID: 45970
Click to report rating    7/13/12   4     4     3     5   Dr. Brar is a very kind hearted man who obviously puts the animals above and beyond anything else. He works hard to help them. He may not be the best at communication, but I would rather that, then ahve a phony vet who is all talk and no heart. He treats animals with the respect that they deserve and sometimes they are just seen as a #. Do your research and go with feelings, but I'm sure Dr. Brar has the animals best interest at heart, not his pocket book. RID: 35627
