The team at Cochrane Lake is incredible. Dr Caroline has treated several of our cats and dogs and was truly caring and compassionate with every visit. And, they saved us a lot of money over the City vet we had used for years. We can't recommend Cochrane ake Small Animal Clinic highly enough!

Dr. Carolin is the type of vet I had been searching for for a long time. Kind, honest, knowledgable, excellent with all of my animals and does not up-sell me on unnecessary procedures or medications as so many vets do nowadays. The clinic has no bells and whistles, but she is absolutely fantastic and worth the short drive out of town.

If you want excellent service, excellent price and personal attention for your four legged friend, this is the place to go. Never have I LOVED a veterinary clinic--we LOVE Cochrane Lake Small Animal Clinic! We drive quite far across town to see Dr. Carolin.The hike is completely worth it for the care received.
We adore the way she seems to "know" our cats and their individual needs; and I know my animals are in capable hands with Dr. Carolin. We are so grateful to have found her!

Dr Koebisch is the mot incredible vet I've ever met. She truly cares about the animals and treats them with kindness and respect. I travel from Calgary to see her and wouldn't go anywhere else. Our dog was a rescue and is often scared of new situations, and Dr Koebisch always gives her lots of time to settle in and bring her anxiety level down. It's obvious that she's passionate about animals and their care.

Dr. Koebisch is the best vet I have ever met. So knowledgeable and truly cares for the health of your pet. She goes above the call of duty to make sure your pet is well cared for. Her rates are great too. She does not just jump in ordering blood work etc unless she feels it is absolutely necessary.

We live in Calgary and went to this vet based on the reviews, even though we have 3 vets within walking distance from us. I am so glad I did. Their compassion, professionalism, prices and promptness was like no other vet. If I could give them 10 stars for each rateable category - I would.

There should be an 'excellent' rating choice. I have been to most 'holistic' vets in Calgary looking for professionalism and quality care. Always disappointed - never found anywhere near the same level of sensitivity to those issues or patient understanding combined with skilled expertise, until I found Dr. Koebisch. She has been a source of trust and comfort for me with my two dogs and I am so glad she is here. I have told many disgruntled pet owners about her, and those that have been able to go out to the country have found her kind and gentle in addition to being an expert in animal care. One reason I moved to Cochrane (as opposed to Airdrie) was that this wonderful Vet was close by.

Our dog was well cared for, the service was top notch from the first phone call until we walked out the door at the end of the procedure. Cost was half of what city vets had quoted. The doc gave all her attention, there were no crowds or lineups. Brilliant all around.

At last I have found a caring, incredible vet since my vet of 25 years retired. Dr. Carolin is deeply committed to the animals and cognizant of keeping costs of care reasonable. Her clinic is simple, no bells and whistles, but she provides exemplary care. I trust her and I do not leave her clinic feeling that I have been upsold on unnecessary procedures as I have with several other vets in the area.

She is simply the best vet in the Calgary area that I know. The city vets could learn a lot from her in how she cares for animals and their families and how she runs her practice. She is so kind and caring. She approaches each situation logically. She does not push unnecessary procedures or medications nor does she push vet brand food. She works with her clients to find out what works best for their pets and their individual situation.

I "interviewed" Dr. Koebisch first before making an appointment for my dogs as I was disappointed with other nearby clinics and their "upselling" of add-on procedures($$$)which I did not want (and sometimes was charged for anyway. I was desperate to find a vet that I felt I could trust completely. Dr. Koebisch has all the qualifications necessary and has a wonderful exuberant way of meeting one's animals. She obviously cares deeply for the health and well being of one's pet. She runs a simple clinic without a lot of bells and whistles, but everything needed to serve her clients. I did not feel ripped off in any way, nor did she push certain foods, or additional vaccinations/procedures on me during our visit. I trusted her immediately...a feeling I have been without since the retirement of my Calgary vet of 23 years... so happy to have found her.

the doctor is compassionate and knowledgeable in every way. I had to put my dog to sleep last week and I wrestle with whether it was the right decision and the doctor reassured me that it was in my pet's best interest as he was in a lot of pain and that eases the guilt but still very painful losing a pet. I want to applaud the vet for all the years of service, surgery and care to my pet. She has got the biggest heart, sense of humor and is absolutely loving - she treats your pet as if it is her own. Without a doubt she is the best vet in all of Calgary and area.

Best vet I've ever met! She is so honest and definitely looking out for the animals, not just after your money (like most Calgary vets). I always trust her judgement, she is never pushy and my dog loves her. So worth the drive =) Unlike city vets, she does not promote a certain brand of dog food, she simply advises you as to which brand is most appropriate for your dog. Love her!!

I have had 4 animals including the miniature schnauzer I have now. I would not take Quinn to any other clinic than this one. The clinic is clean as a pin and the vet and her husband are honest, down to earth and caring people. The vet is not an alarmist and is extremely thorough in all her assessments and examinations. She returns phone calls and even has her home phone on her answering machine. My dog loves going there and starts to whine and pace back and forth in the car the minute we turn off the highway to their access road. These are caring people towards animals and their owners and I consider them my friends. I too, drive out from Calgary as I know I am in good hands at that clinic. My dog is in good hands and I know I have the very best doctor I could have for him. Out of my 4, 3 of them have been looked after by this wonderful, compassionate, caring lady and her husband.

This is an excellent clinic. The hours are great. The clinic is warm and inviting. There are very little wait times if any. We drive from Calgary just to go to it. The vet knows animals and treats our dog extremely well, she gets right down on the floor to see our dog when she comes in. She is knowledgeable and, unlike many Calgary clinics, she is not out to make money and won't jump to medication/procedures as a first course of action. She tries to find a more natural solution first. She truly does care about the health and well-being of the animals she treats, not about how much money she can make. I would not take our dog anywhere else.
