I believe that the quality of orthopaedic surgery is outstanding! I live in Toronto, so it’s pretty complicated for me to drive (1,5 hours one way) for my appointment. I did it, because I am sure that that is the best place and I can trust my pet! My baby Yorkie broke his leg and needed surgery.Dr Oren Levstein repaired Barnie’s Leg , he inserted pins.few days ago pins were successfully removed. My baby is walking without limping at all! Staff is always polite, helpful, I feel like it’s my family now! I can highly recommend if you need professional help - ho to South Tower Animal Hospital. In terms of prices,yes it’s not cheap to put pins inside tiny bone, but it’s everywhere more or less same price.but the quality I got say for itself. I hope I will not have problems with my dogs anymore, but if yes, I will drive again to Dr.Oren.

I have had a few appointments with Dr. Oren over the past few years since he took over this clinic and will be taking my pets elsewhere going forward. He suggests a ridiculous battery of tests for the simplest of conditions. I should have known better than to have gone to him when the pet and owner with an appointment before us paid a bill of $250 for fleas!! Luckily I had the sense to turn down most of the tests, treatments and treats he suggested to rule out the least likely causes and conditions for something that ultimately could be treated with a drug store treatment (which he reluctantly admitted!)

I rate this clinic in the highest category.I have 5 cats and one dog..Dr levstein and his staff are always kind,knowledgeable and patient with my precious family members.I am so very happy with the care provided and recommending this clinic for anyone.I am so very happy that laser treatments will be offered soon.I know that is the future medicine ..glad the service is available in the area...

My young cat was in a fight and I thought I would try South Tower instead of driving 30 min to my regular vet. Big mistake. Lots of unnecessary tests with a bill of 1,000+. Three days later my cat was in bad shape. Went to my regular vet they knew what was wrong. They charged me $130.00 and she was fine in a couple of days. Went to pay my bill at South Tower and there was an elderly lady there with a very old dog. They charged her 2,000. Don't waste your money.

Took my chihuahua there because her eye had popped out of the socket, she needed surgery ASAP. Dr. Oren examed her for 2 mins and gave me a quote between $1200 - $1400. I knew this was high but it was after hours and wanted her looked after right away. He wanted payment of $1200 before he would help her which I could not pay due to banks being closed. He would not allow a payment plan or a promise to pay the next day. I was there for 2 hours trying to come up with cash while my dogs eye was drying out and he never offered to put any drops in it while we waited. I was turned away so went to Rockwood vet. They took her right away and the bill was only $441 which includes her check up and drops for her eye for a whole week. I will never go back there, he only cares about the money and over charges!!!

Took my poodle in for a check up and Dr. Oren found a badly broken molar that required surgical removal. The surgery went perfect, everything was thoroughly explained. The staff are friendly, appointments are on time, and the Dr. Oren has exceptional surgical expertise. They have state of the art equipment and use high end vaccines to reduce side effects. My dog was always very sore after vaccines and since going to South Tower he has zero reaction. On a side note, staff will call the next day after vaccines to ensure that your animal is doing well. Where else do you get service like that!

After 10 years of service I am leaving South Tower Animal Hospital. I was quoted two very different quotes for the same procedure and feel like the Dr. Cares more about money than the patients. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful but they are not the ones treating my pets. Be on the lookout for the Dr. Trying to "upsell" and your healthy pet suddenly being diagnosed with an expensive illness.

Dr. Oren Levstein was recommeded by the office of my previous Vet who was on vacation. I was always led to believe that my previous Vet had the best rates due to the remote location of his practice. Surprisingly, Oren's rates were the same. My same day appointment time was met to the minute. NO WAITING! He spent a great deal of time with me, carefully examining my Beagle and explaining to me the dogs health issues.
