Morinville clinic is only looking for your money, in our case they did not display any compassion or care our cat was prescribed morphine for pain and sent home, we spoke to them a few times with no further assistance. She spent 2 days in pain, we took her to another vet who diagnosed with a bowel obstruction and treated her within an hour. We could have lost her for something that is very treatable.

When my 18 month old puppy died in her sleep at home, I trusted this clinic to arrange a necropsy and cremation.
Instead, they dropped the ball on shipping her, didn’t tell me and then lied about it. She sat for 24hrs in a freezer then 3 days in a shipping facility before arriving to the lab in Saskatoon.
And as if it couldn’t get any worse, they failed to send her with the proper paperwork to get her cremated and the lab disposed of her body. All I wanted after losing my puppy way before her time was for her final resting spot to be with me and the Morinville Vet Clinic has robbed me of this.

I found the staff unfriendly on the three separate occasions we have visited this clinic. They are expensive, although I have no complaints about they way they have treated our cat and dog. However, I feel they should take the name 'vet' off of their sign and change it to 'cat and dog' clinic as they seem unable or unwilling to treat any other animals. They also will NOT treat emergency cases or wildlife unless you pretty much drop it on their doorstep and run away. I understand running a business like a business, but I will never go back to a place like MVC that doesn't seem to care about all animals. They are an American medical type facility and I won't give them money anymore.

I highly recommend this vet clinic. When my Jack Russell was attacked by another dog they stitched her up and put in a drain. I felt she was in the best care the entire time she was their. They gave me through after care directions and were very clear that I could call if I needed anything. It's been almost a year now and she barely has a scar! I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else!

I have been going to this clinic for many years now with my dogs. I have always been greeted by a happy and caring staff. When emergancys have come up there is always someone to answer our call, and in the case of needing surgery or even a general check up if there is a slight posability of a problem they always do a follow up call. I highly recomend all of the staff for there caring and concern about their clients/patients. The boarding kennels are excellant and when I have had to use them my dogs have always come home happy and well cared for.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Morinville Veterinary Clinic, The staff has always been amazing to my animals and myself, through the good and hard times.I can say they genuinely care, they go above and beyond with little extra's such as little scarves for the dogs on Xmas and Halloween to sending sympathy cards hand signed by all the staff. I have recommended the clinic to several people and will continue to do so in the future. I would also like to add that the grooming facility is just awesome. The girls do a fantastic job and the prices are more than reasonable. Thank You again to all the wonderful staff at Morinville Vet Clinic. You all rock!! Sincerely Lori McCoy.

My cat ate a leaf from a easter lily. Phoned the vet and they got us in immediately. Lillies are deadly to cats. They treated him and I am happy to say that we still have our little friend.Will never have easter lily in the house again!!!Can't say enough good about the treatment we received.

I'm thrilled with the service at this clinic. My 8 month old kitten was up wailing most of Saturday night and into the morning. When I called to see if it might be possible to get an appointment, I was told that despite being double booked for the remainder of the day the vet (once made aware of our situation) wished us to come in as soon as possible to be on the safe side. My kitten was diagnosed as being in heat (as I had somewhat suspected) - but it was good to have it confirmed by a professional and to hear that he had no other concerns). Best of all - they waived the fee for my visit, so I didn't even need to pay for the peace of mind. These guys are great!

I love this vet! I have used westlock vet and many city and Sherwood park vets as well! They are always welcoming ( with the exception of one staff member who can be rather abrasive on the phone) with that said I recommend them to family from the city all the time! I have 4 dogs and they have all but one needed to go in for emergency reasons at one point or another! Price wise they are better then the city! Compared to westlock they are more expensive! But if u live in morinville the drive to westlock and the gas used! They are a great boarding facility which we use while away on vacation! Love love love them!

Usually, most of the staff are good. I have, on a few occasions, been given some grief at the front desk by an unqualified person with bad people skills. I don't think she is still there, yet more of the same yesterday and today. My wife and I attempted to have one of our pets euthanized since yesterday. All we got on the phone were inappropriate questions and referrals. Twice I was hung up on because the receptionist doesn't seem to know how to forward a call. I got tired of waiting, so we went to Westlock, who took our pet in right away, without all the inappropriate questions. We also saved over $100. This is no surprise, most people we know are aware that this clinic overcharges compared to Westlock and Fort Saskatchewan. We don't plan on going to the Morinville Clinic for our pet needs again.
