I chose this vet because it is where we took our family pet when I was a child. Things sure have changed. They double bill for vet visits and then tell you that it is their policy! No other vet in the city bills twice for the vet visit for annual vaccines (that they require two appointments for). Spoke to them and was told I would get a refund but no refund was issued. When I called back again, she changed her tune and said it was there policy. Buyer Beware. This vet clinic is all about the $$ and doesn't care at all about your pet.

I appreciate very much the professionalism, kindness and quick response from Dr. Shannon Lindsay to the needs of my cat. She was calm, precise and very gentle. highly recommend her and I will not hesitant to bring her back any of my precious animals.

I have known this vet since the 1970's and would trust him with any of may pets. He has provided care for my horses and 2 dogs with no bad result.

Was a client for over 20 years, in the last year he misdiagnosed two of our dogs. One was having puppies and needed a csection but he sent her home instead, both of her puppies died. The second was sick and he did NO TESTS just said she had a cold, gave her a shot of fluid and sent her home. Ended up taking her to the animal emerg, spent over $1000, they said she would have died if we didn't bring her in. She had Giardia and Dr. C should have done a fecal swab. Contacted his office after and had to fight with his nightmare of an assistant to get our $160 back for the misdiagnosis of "a cold". Mary Francis, she's a nightmare with NO CS skills. Finally we got a letter saying we were no longer welcome there. No apology for two dead puppies and almost a third because of those ppl, no apology for over $1000 of emerg care. WORST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER

The vets are usually kind and competent but change a lot other than Dr C, who forgets to do things lately, like take weight before prescribing. The staff can be arrogant (contradict the vet s instructions), and rude, especially one of the groomers but also the desk staff. I m looking for a different practice.

This vet hospital is amazing! Yes, the girls on the counter can sometimes put you on hold for quite a while but that has gotten much better over the years but Dr. Carnegy is amazing with animals and he really cares about the pets and their owners as well. My cat was very sick about a year ago and had to visit the vet 6 times for various illnesses and Dr. Carnegy was amazing with him and me (I was understandably stressed out) - the girls on the desk even put down that some of my visits were "continuing care" so I didn't have to pay for each one. Very helpful, nice people!

Unfortunately I also had a bad experience here. I left my pet with my gf of many years while away at school, and found out a couple weeks before coming home she was sick. I told my gf to take her to the vet who said she had an infection and was sent away with antibiotics...given daily (my gf loved this animal as much as I did). When I came home a couple weeks later for xmas, she looked terrible! She was extremely underweight, shaky when moving, and barely eating anything. I found my pet passed away around lunch time xmas day!! I was so devestated over this I decided to call and ask what the initial observation was when my animal was brought in, and asked what the bloodwork showed....at this point I would find out no bloodwork or swabs were ever done (how can you diagnose an infection without it?), and the vet then proceeded to suggest my gf starved her to death! If you knew my gf you would know that is just rediculous! Rediculous to pay what I did to bring her in, and not one test

CELEBRITY VET!!! YAY CARNEGY! Please, don't do it. Your pet is worth common sense, not paying for somebody's personal image. Stop over-innoculating, under-examining, and neutering puppies under 6 months...if only you guys knew! I thought he was wonderful once, but only because everybody else did. Don't learn the hard way!

The vets here have been fantastic with my cats. Most recently I've been dealing with Dr Wuhr. Even my shy fella has warmed up to her very quickly, and she made sure to make me feel more than welcome to call or drop in to see her with any questions.

Everyone always says how great Carnegy's is. It was, however as of late it's BAD! In my opinion he killed my dog, i'm not one of those crazy people that complains all the time, but I thought others should know. I took my dog in there because she was not eating and she was drinking alot of water, rather than give her a blood test he told me to put pasta in her food and then said she had dry eye and an ear infection and gave us meds. The poor thing was going into kidney failure. If he had done a blood test he would have know that and I didn't know what she should have, i'm not a Vet. Moving on to his reception staff. THEY ARE THE WORST PEOPLE...They put you on hold when they are chatting about personal issues, while your dog is having a siezer, yeah if your reading this, you didn't push the hold button all the way down sweetie!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET EVER.
